You just wasted $150. Its a FREE game.... and at that an Asian game translated to this side of the ocean with a cash shop.
Once you try it out, then you coulda decided if it was worth your money.
$150 is the price for a pay to play game for 1 year or 3 AAA console games or who knows how many good PC steam games on sale, etc.
IDK why you guys have no patience, you are joining a beta, your progress will be wiped and you put down this much money lol. Then you have to start over and probably ruined the fun because you are playing in beta and have to repeat it all.
Theres so many free games to play while waiting on this game man.....

First off it's alpha. Second, the Alpha server is not being wiped - it's being converted into the public test server. Third, it's been a crapload of fun, and I will have a substantial amount of knowledge going into the live game. Fourth, depending on what's actually in the cash shop will determine if the $150 package was worth it. So far, I think it is, and haven't looked back since getting it. Fifth, most of those games suck. Even the P2P ones aren't really that entertaining to me, whereas this game has been a blast the entire time so far.

and I have no problem rolling another character at that point in time. However, instead of sitting around waiting for the game to play - i'm playing it now and having a great time. What are you doing?

Playing games that I already have. Currently playing A LOT of XCOM. Great game.
My comment about the test server was made because I've seen the test server argument used to refute the fact that any progress will be wiped. All progress WILL be wiped for those who plan to play on the actual live servers. That's all I was saying.
For me, I'd use the $150 on other things and just be patient. I don't expect everyone to do the same. But I would recommend XCOM for anyone who hasn't played it!!

Not trying to bring anyone down. Just being realistic. I need more convincing, even thou I would love to try the game. It does look intriguing.

Every single time this is stated that someone bought the 150 package...it has to be commented 'it's a Free game!'
It is a Subscription game and a F2P. So you can go either way.
$150>Alpha & Beta access/ $75 worth of in game credit / 90 day subscription ($45)/ and a bunch of other in game fluff items. So that is over $120 in game value right off the bat.
$99> Beta access/ $50 worth of in game credit/ 60 day subscription ($30)/ plus a few in game fluff items. So that is over $80 of in game value there.
$49> Beta access/ $20 of in game credit/ 30 day subscription ($15)/ and some fluff items. So $35 value in game.
I don't think so many are buying the packages to get into game so fast. As the extra that comes with it. Sure it is F2P. And if you want to play for fee when it comes out that is fine.
$150 to play what other MMO for a year? Which can you tell me is the same game experience as AA? If there was one, I would have been playing it already. AAA console? Why? I am a PC gamer, looking for an MMO to play, so console has nothing to do with it. And games for sale on Steam? Those aren't MMOs...those are single player games on the most part. And if none of us put money into these "free" games...there would be no 'free' games for you to bitch about.
playing tons of other completed games and having just as much fun while waiting for the live free version to come out like a smart person. Ill gain all that knowledge when the game comes out, it aint like its rocket science.
Why is it that some people just do not understand that some people have more money to spend than others... Or just see value differently...

I would be calling them stupid if that benz became free a few months later and those people knew this. And I would have used that money to tune that car up or something else I really want just as much.
Completed games? AA came out 1 year and half ago..it's not like it's an unfinished beta like many recently released and soon to be released games.
Yep people shouldn't spend money to have fun, they should just buy the unfinished crap that gets released before quitting it after 2 weeks.

Does it really matter? If you'd rather spend 150$ on other games or on AA is your business, i don't see what's smart about it.
+1 - really enjoying this game as there is SOOO much to do.
was bored to tears this afternoon and took the plunge. I figured 150 would be cheap if I get 4 to 5 months worth of gaming out of it. I spent that much in WOT over a 6 month period then dropped 60 on ESO which I gave up on in less than a month. I guess the old saying a fool and his money are soon parted but wtf you can't take it with you.
Will be active with either numerous ohmygawd I wasted my money or holy crap i love it posts for the next month or two at least
