If you didn’t read, why post.. just to be obnoxious?

    WTF?

Just replace "Wildstar" with any other game and ITS THE SAME.

    LOTRO....Rift....SWTOR...GW2....ESO....

Your totally right, ESO rewards you for grouping…

And GW2 has a ton of shiphands..

    /sarcasm.

IF a game needs to reward you for group play for there to be people taking part in group play, it's not a game problem it's a community problem.

It is all about structure. If a game isn't structured for grouping people wont do it.

ESO is the perfect example of that.

WS is structured like solo game with group options. Just like any other game. Absolutely nothing new or never seen before.

I disagree.  Most games lately are all about solo questing and story telling with cut scenes. Wildstar focus almost entirely on grouping after level 15.

You can disagree all you want, its not like people didnt play it so someone needs to tell them how it is lol

That's my whole point. People did play it.

they played it by themselves up to level 10 or so, and didn't experience where the game is strongest.

I think it was important to hear an opinion from someone who has played the game from my perspective; not quested to lvl 10 and stopped.

You cant group before level 10? Is that what youre saying?

Or you cannot advance past level 15 unless you group? Is thst what aoure saying?

Game doesnt change cookir cutter MMO formula one bit, you act like noone played themepark MMO before lol

Dude, in that respect game isnt special one bit

OMG I can do dugeon at lvl 20! Never seen THAT before. lol SWTOR had heroic quests on starter planets and first flashpoints at lvl 10 (and best ones in the game)

Also has social points as currency for grouping...

And you of all versions of MMO gamers should be the best at cookie cutter themepark. You rarely take part in group play! And in WS group play is highly encouraged, not forced. Dont get mad at OP because he, along with a lot of us, actually enjoy playing MMOs the way they were originally meant to be played, socially.

I hate PVP for the most part. But I wont hesitate to say that there are some titles out there were I thoroughly enjoyed my time Pvp'n....wait for it.....ALONG with guildies, RL buddies, and new friends I made in game.

And its not different than any other themepark released lol

Mad? No, amused how fresh account tries to sell cookie cutter themepark MMO as something completely new :)

OMG it has grouping *faints* yeah, never ever seen that before rofl even if other games did it better and had group quests available basically at newbie levels (and funny but those same games were called "solo MMOs" hyporisy at work - true dat)

Great post op. I'm amazed at the people who bash it or don't read comments and base their opinion on something they only played to levels 1-10 and then stopped. But would have the gall to stalk forums and bash on something they only "looked" at I would say. Judging a book by it's cover essentially. Now I'm not saying you can't form your own opinion and what not and if it's not for you it's not. But to actively try to bash on others opinions when you didn't even try out all or most of the content yourself is what I call stupid.

This game is great for solo or grouping. I usually like to group with my guild or friends and there's plenty of things to do together. When they don't want to group I'm exploring the planets or playing pvp. It's truly a fun experience.

There are some open world dungeons with open world bosses. Named mobs and even open world raid bosses.

There's three types of instances, shiphands (mini dungeons for group 2-5), Adventures (group 5+ Which are choose your scenario type instances a bit easier on the mechanics and gear quality), then the regular old instances (group 5+ harder mechanics, need better gear quality)

For what it's worth, while the game does have a bunch of group content, it also has a ton of solo content, too. There's an entire section of the endgame dedicated to soloing. They're planning on monthly solo dungeons with story content and reward structures. There will be endgame gear for raiding, soloing and pvp, and each will have bonuses largely for that type of play. That's one of the things I like about it: you can play the game however you want and get rewards that apply to that style of play (something even GW2 has been moving away from lately). If someone's expecting the game to force people into multiplayer contect, they're going to be disappointed; everyone else should be thrilled.

I have found many crappy people but using the I talk and explain first method mode I have managed to weed out those people.  I had a lovely experience in FFXIV ARR in every dungeon I did and I did some multiple times. We need to talk more folks.

Totally agree. I just started playing FFXIV ARR again ( I quit after the 1st month). I am currently a level 39 scholar. Every instance the first thing I say is "1st time running this" and so far, before every boss encounter, someone stops to explain what to do. Even after the explanations I have caused a few wipes, but because they know I am new we keep trying. So far, the community there has been great.

I hope Wildstar will have such a community for those who play it. I was one of those who played just the early levels and quite. Not from boredom or anything, I just didn't like the classes and combat style. I have trouble running around while also using number keys to cast. I would have been happier with an old school combat system like FFXIV ARR or CoH.

I actually loved the 1-15 leveling , other then the tutorial area. After doing that 5 times over it gets damn old . Now form there on out it has been nothing but FUN. Once I got to the 15 + areas the game really started to shine, it actually felt like I have to pay attention to everything I'm doing.

I for one, am sold. This game brings back that feeling of actually accomplishing something . I can't farking wait for the 35+ content,  as well as the dungeons and the 100's of other things to do in this little gem !

Game cost me 45 bucks and GMG.

Spent the extra 15.00 bucks for upgrade.

    15.00 bucks for a month.

Soooooo many hours fun for 75.00 bucks. That's just a tad bit more then some 10 hour pc games.

On top of all of that , the Carbine Devs seem to care more then any other team I've ever seen in life.
