A game that is missed

First i gota say, i purcahsed the new expansions and it isnt half bad, but its not like it used to be. I remember going into citys and lagging out, i loved it, i loved the hundreds of people wandering about, not searching for some jedi quest, or grind to start on. I loved going into the middle of the desert and seeing some random guy at his little camp, and just hang out with him. I miss it so much and i have not seen anything liek that in any game recently, its was such an amazing thing and i miss how it was. Ive come to hate the way jedi are set up, i lked how it was, how it was almost impossible to become a jedi, thats how it should be!!!!!!!!!!!!It is no easy task to become a jedi, how often in the starwars films did you see luke walk into a city, and see hundreds of bright lightsabers flashing about, killing one another non stop. ITs insane. I know complaning about it will do nothing. But i just wanted to say how i felt about it, and if anyone else feels the same way. For me now galaxies is dead. I want people to get back in the game, i want people to post non stop about what they feel should be done to make the game better and not forget about what a great game it was.

if you dont like jedis and you think they are ruining the game, just do what my friend and I will be doing. Becomming master bounty hunters, and help out natural selection by hunting down jedi and killing them.

what in your tiny mind makes you think I want to be a jedi? I started playing this game since it came out and then was really considered playing a beta. I've never bought or played this game wanting to become a jedi. In all honestly I play jedi academy if i want to be a jedi. You don't know what your talking about. TRUST ME, go play BATTLEFRONT 2 and the new starwars rts...

I just figured you for someone who whines alot about others after reading a few of your posts. You would cry trying to grind Jedi and you certainly need someone to hold your hand so a BH is a good profession for you.

I used to play, when the game was like this, when you would just like, hang out in front of coronet starport, or some PC on Talus, and it was crazy fun. I was gonna pick up again at the launch of RotW but I played at my friends house for about 13 minutes while he was out, ack, the once good game has died, especially with that stupid combat upgrade, i liked being able to just sit back and watch my guy kick the shit out of some monster. now its like...EQ2. i loved this game to death last year, most people who said it was crappy just didn't see what some people like me and you, galus, did. the first 3 or 4 days were unforgettable, just running around talus wondering whats gonna happen, or what your gonna do...god damn, why'd they have to do all that idiotic to it.

I have to agree with you, i loved the first few months of SWG. there were some fantastic players in that game and i made many good friends and had some great memories in guilds. I especially remember a small civial war that broke out in the guild's city i was in Sential Plains, lol that cival war started 2 more guilds up great times.......

Can't wait till Friday to buy the Total Experience and experience it all again, I wonder what minings like.
