Im looking to play a new MMORPG, Now that I have had my job a while I have time and money to invest into a newer game. But let me tell you what i'm looking for.
I loved Asherons Call, which is a magical warrior/wizard type MMORPG most of you should know, I tried AC2 Didnt really like it.
I tried EQ twice, I didnt like it, I thought it was a money pit. The graphics and game play were in depth but it was way too boring to me, I dont know why I just didnt like it. It took way too long to level.
I tried DAoC twice, I didnt much care for it, it was okay though. I'd say Asheron's Call was always my favorite, I played it off and on from 2000-2004. I think I ended up pretty well on that game by the time I quit.
Im interested in trying Jedi Academy, but Its been out since 2003, Which makes me worried it may not be so popular anymore.

So Im looking for a fantasy/adventure type MMORPG, Something newer, something that wont go out of style in 3 months. Any ideas?
Oh, I love Guilds and PvP aspects of games. Im not much of a quest person.

Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit
Since you like PvP try:
Guild Wars
Lineage 2
Planetside
World War 2 Online
ShadowBane
Those are the only ones that have a lot of PvP and guilds that I know.
~Greatness~
Currently Playing:
Nothing
I'm guessing Guild Wars, and City of Heros maybe.
You could try World of Warcraft.....

Shadowbane always looked appealing, ubt its been out a long time,
I also heard it sucked from a friend.
I just like Jedi so I thought it would be cool to play it online, it might not be what I thought it was...
Lineage 2 seems interesting.. Ive never heard of the rest.
I would suggest World Of Warcraft
Set in a fantasy world and has PvP
