Obviously I can't speak for everyone else, but yes I grew tired of WoW very quickly. I reactivated a few weeks ago and now again I'm completely bored with it and don't bother to log on anymore. It's a good game but holds no lasting appeal for me, 1-2 weeks at a time is about all I can take of WoW.

    I have a level 10, 8 and a 7, I already got bored and quit

But in really matters what you consider boring

Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit

I opened my account on day 1 and within 2 months it was cancelled.  There's no lasting appeal to me.

Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.

I also opened my account on day 1 but I still play, but I have a group of rl friends that play with and that will make the differenct in any game. I looking for another game to play but nothing out looks any better to me. I couldn't get into eq2 seemed really dull to me

Well i say i am to getting quite bored.Simple problem is blizzard is one of the slowest companies i seen in updating the game.

Not much has changed in 6 months .Ok we have honor system which took forever to make.Battlegrounds just coming in now.

From the pve its almost dead at 60 because they failed to update content.I am so sick of the few instances you can go to at 60-BRS,DM,Stratholme,Scholo and maybe MC.

You do this over and over till you get so sick of it.

I think I hang a bit more in there but honestly if they don't update more frequently i doubt i stay myself.

But i think you should try it.It gives a few months of good funimage

It's not like the game is empty because everybody got bored and quit a week after it launched.  Just try the game yourself and take message board opinionating with a grain of salt.

For me the game got incredibly boring very fast.  And yes its very easy to level up in the game and alot of stuff is spoon fed to you but making a game easy doesnt equate to more fun for me.

I do have to say that the CGI movie and background music is amazing though.  However when I saw the actual game, I was very disappointed graphic-wise especially after seeing that movie and listening to the music.  Guess I am not into playing a easy console-like MMORPG that looks like a Mario Bro game.

Don't look here for insight. Try it for yourself. Too many players here are too burnt out on MMOs to give a unbias opinion.

Not everyone can so easily shell out $50 just to try out a game. If you're looking for something to play I'd recommend trying DAOC if you haven't already, you can download a free trial at fileplanet.

    I am speaking for myself.

WoW was a blast the first few weeks. The most fun I have had in years with MMOs. Then, the fun ended rapidly as rehashed "go to" quests occured with repeat mobs. I quit in two months.

WoW is a fast past Monty Hall style campaign, that makes for a great complimentary game. I would recommend WoW if your life and/or other things come first. If you are one of these types that have no life outside of your computer generated world, then I would recomend one of the slower more monotonous MMos.

I enjoyed the beta, had me hooked for 2-3 weeks after that i just lost interest in WoW, so I didn't bother buying WoW when it had gone retail. But dont listen to me just try it and see if you like it. Downside that you have to buy the box to try the game.
