Probably the OP has every reason to be happy, i think the only real issue i have with the game is the art style, if it wasn't for that i'd probably be playing it too.
*shudder* Just looking at the OP's picture makes me want to throw up. I lasted 45 seconds into the beta before shutting the game down and deleting it. Yuck.
OP when I find a game I really enjoy last thing I will do on earth is come here and start thread as I will be so busy playing.
I'm here now cause of boredom of mmos im playing and if you found your happiness shouldn't you be there playing?
Is it a crime to share one's expression on forums? Is it wrong to make a time to let people know how the game is working for the OP? or such thing as freedom of speech does not apply from where you come from? or just simply your culture?
When I'm excited abotu a game to the OPS level time is gold and spent 100% there
Yea but you're not him. Glad you deleted your user name, need less of that sort of vile comments around here. Nothing wrong with disliking a game but just be civil about it.
For the record, I just got done with a marathon 26 hour session and even though I disliked the game previous, It did start to grow on me after I hit level 10 and got through the first zone. Our guild is 37 strong now and kind of can't wait to get back into the raid scene by the end of the month.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
Cheers and I wish all good for WS. Maybe I'll pick it up myself some day when I get over with the art style it has. Btw WS players who didn't like that art style at first - is it possible to get used to it when getting further in the game etc? This is a honest question because the art style is really the only thing that is putting me on hold.
I don't play Wildstar, but I kinda of hope it becomes the new standard for how to launch an MMO. A themepark launching with a deep crafting system and player housing? Yes please make that the norm from here on out.
And on the other side of the argument: Hated Wildstar and for me the themepark MMO can't die off soon enough. Happy that some of you are enjoying it though
Why would themepark MMO's have to die? What's in it for you? Why would you want a type of game to die when so many more people like it then people like sandbox games? Are you really that selfish, and not even slightly embarrassed for posting that?
I've tried, hoped and given up on countless MMOs, but this is THE ONE for me. It ticks all my boxes and is so polished and well thought out. Some nice features that pick the best bits from all MMO games, without the flaws.
LOL, the game is still only in head start and people are already at max level, have announced that "this is the one", et al...
In 30 days, we shall see, yet again, what we have seen in all the other MMOs to come out for the last 9 years....
In fact, when WoD ships, the very same thing will happen... all over a span of 30 days.
I am willing to wager that if you only got 10 days of free play time with subscription based games, that this process would occur over a 10 day period instead of 30 days. The reality is, they only really love it to death while they are still on their "free" game time... once they have to invest more money into it, the honeymoon is over.
Who's to say if it has any staying power... but the one thing we know for sure is that during the first 30 days, the game is bustling with activity... and it's that activity that people enjoy seeing... when they all disappear, they disappear with them.
Great game and no real launch issues for me took about 6-7 attempts to get in Sat morning 11am then it was all good played till midnight. Why so many negative people feel the need to bash something so seriously is worrying . I mean some of the people here seem just nasty borderline mental cases. Dont like the game dont play simple. Great game loving it with some cool addons PotatoUI is great btw really customisable . I quit WOW subbed to this after 9yrs its just stale for me now and i know a lot of guidlies have moved on but each to their own . See ya ingame
... and countless MMORPGs, I've found my WoW's successor. I have fallen in love with the combat, the graphics, the gameplay, the content, the humor... I just cannot look back after playing Wildstar.
Finally, a new home.
A cartoony, juvenile quest grind where pvp is an aoe button mash - that being said - I am SO jealous you have found a home. My tastes were ruined by Dark Age of Camelot, i.e, 26 races, 44 classes, 3 realms (no copy paste class builds). I expect so much more than mmorpgs offer, and now I sit with solo rpgs and tv time. So yes, while I have my own opinion on this title, I am happy for you (and did I say jealous?).
Comments
Yeah what the hell were they thinking? Should have made it for Xbox like all the other MMO's.
Total fail.

I don't understand why people like this game. :S It just give me the desire to play WoW again!!
ESO lovers also moved here
All Time Favorites: EQ1, WoW, EvE, GW1
Playing Now: WoW, ESO, GW2
Finally after 9 long years... of the same... we got more of the same!
That's how I feel.
Sad but true.

Congrats to the designers - you did it!
Exactly. I can't BELIEVE it took 9 years to make this game. From the time alone, I expected better.

Difference is, one will still have several million subscribers more than the other can ever hope to.
@OP
I couldn't agree more.
Been too many dang years to find and play a game where hours feel like minutes. I have finally found the game ! WildStar is just one heck of a drug.
but is not sandbox
no sand today no play
