FF11 movement problems

in Final Fantasy XI
I just got ff11 and i was wondering. WUT THE HECK IS UP WITH THE MOVEMENT. Y DO U HAVE 2 CLICK AND DRAG 2 MOVE. I love the game but this is my only problem. If u kno how 2 move in a different way plz tell me. Thnx
