Getting into Wildstar

RelampagoRelampago Member UncommonPosts: 451

So i played the ESO beta and the Wildstar beta.

I enjoyed ESO and my guildies did not.

I did not enjoy Wildstar, played it to 20, my guildies did not even play it.

I buy ESO and am enjoying it especially the crafting and PVP.

Then i find out my guildies bought Wildstar so i buy Wildstar and cancel my ESO account.

They tell me they are on the Pergo server so i go to log into it and...11 hour queue.

Seriously 11 hours.  I can understand an hour queue but 11 hours...

It's not really 11 hours, maybe 1 hour tops. The queue times don't reflect actual times, not the end of the world, calm down.

TBH most streamers that I have watched so far have said they really aren't having much fun playing Wildstar and leveling up, they say its very boring and repetitive so far.  The only reason they still play is because many of their fans have bought the game just to play with them and they dont want to abandon their other players.

Depends on the server.  Pergo runs anywhere from 3-6+ hours during prime time, Stormtalon around 2, and even a less populated server like Caretaker has a bit over an hour wait during prime time.

That is not true. Took 6 hours for me. Twice!

You are saying a new AAA title release has long queues the first week?  Unheard of!!!! :)

Give it a few days and it will be fine.

edit: I was not directing my comment right at you cybersrs...that was just a general comment.

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.

My guild also picked a high population server. I logged in Sunday night and it said 8hr wait time. I only had to wait 3hrs to get in. Not worth getting upset over as this is the way online goes. If you hate it, move to a lower populated server. Myself I will suffer to hang with my guildies lol
