With a name like this

I don't expect developers to be very creative.

and I was issued a warning for trolling...

I think I actually spent way more time reading and theorycrafting about MMOs than playing them

I was stating the obvious, not trolling.

Except the game has some of the most innovating features MMORPGs wise while pretty much scrapping the old wow formula from quests to skills to dungeons and trinity

so about stating the obvious - yes you are trolling and deserve the consequences

I find the name quite strange in fact, as most of what I've seen of the game isn't in fact desertlike at all.

So it's likely that the name has some kind of meaning, which was probably not easily translated from Korean.

Finally, it's pretty silly to judge the creativeness of a game based on a title. Aside from jumping to conclusions the writers aren't exactly the only people working on such a project.

Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!

We will only get real innovation when the machines we use to play these games receive a technological advancement.  Right now we have increased memory and faster processors but no real innovation.  This game will be similar to all the other games we have played.  Real innovation is waiting on the tech side.

Nobody asked you to launch into an argument of definitions comparing "Innovation" to "Real Innovation".

It's not as bad as Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.

I'm kinda curious about whats so lacking on the creativity-front with the name.

Would "Wildstar" or "Darkfall" gain more or less points on this mysterious creativity-meter of yours, OP? Or maybe World of Warcraft is really creative? image
