Also it is top end dps build, there are variations of it ofc but every single one is spam bloodshot. Also it is 2nd highets dps build in the entire game (maybe something changed when 1.9 came), best one is Hammer/something, dont recall. And the best one (hammer/something) has so unforgiving rotation than you cant spam it, if you spam it, you will suck at it.
Ok the topic was: Why is the combat of TSW considered bad?
My answer was: It's clunky and 80% about spamming the same skills. (Usually builders)
So your answer is that this build in particular makes less use of a builder but instead you >spam< another skill.
(Your words not mine)
And about that other build you don't remember anymore... What does that even mean?
To use a rotation so unforgiving that you can't spam it?

Hammer/fist
To use it to the fullest you need to allign Elemental Force (force crit) with Momentum (hammer ofensive passive)... use it with Molten Steel (hammer active).
I am a tank in TSW and I never spam the same skill. If I do this I kill my group. I need to impair certain boss abilities (I need to know everyone of them), position boss and even dps to help in some encounters where you have 30s to finish a fight or its a wipe. I never saw dungeons so fun to play as in TSW with little to no trash mobs and very challenging boss fights. I wont explain everything here, but this game is much more then spamming 1 skill... The theorycraft is pretty hard in this game. And this comes from a player that tanked full Dragon Soul Heroic and beat the Lich King Heroic in WoW. Never had so much fun doing dungeons as in TSW... Hell Fallen is still very challenging even with full .5 gear.
Originally posted by aliven K, i cant find definite answer so - do i need to buy Issue to go to Tokyo or just i can go to Tokyo but i get extra missions when i buy Issue?
You need to buy Issue #9 to access Tokyo zone at all.
Paid DLC part of the update includes:
Access to Kaidan (Tokyo) zone.
Main story missions from Preludes & Intrigues through to Spiral (nominally 8 missions though 2 are pretty much filler, as in "go to this location, talk to this NPC").
One Action mission and a bunch of side missions (I've not counted all of them).
Access to AEGIS system (which is only any use against Tokyo mobs anyway).
Two "Sidestories" DLC packs with additional action, sabotage & investigation missions in the Kaidan zone are planned. No release date has been given.

Your post kind of impressed me.
I can see you feel pride and love for your role and I respect that.
Though from your description being a tank seems to greatly differ from being a DD or healer.
Well mostly yes, game is about building resources and spending them on more powerfull skills. Somebody may dont like it, somebody will love it. As for me and many more the fight mechanics, the skills are briliant.
In normal MMO you will spam skills, from most uber to less uber or wait till x proc and then spam uber. Rinse and repeat, its called rotation, priority list etc. None of it is lacking from TSW combat, except you must first accumulate x resources to use your ubers.
I never, ever see the player in GW2 telling me it is dull to use aa in their skillbar, when they wait till something go off cd. And yet the resource generating skills are exactly the same - thye are auto attacks of some sort (except they are not auto:P), a filler spell/skill till you most powerfull go off cd / you build resource.
TSW just give us more control on the combat on the side of our character.

Try to be a Leech Healer (its my second spec)... Leech Healer is so much more fun than fist heals. Cant even compare.
As a leecher you can do 80-90% os the dps from a full dps spec AND heal the tank. But to use the spec to its full potential you will need 10.2+ gear and be very allert, cause sometimes you will lose yourself doing dps and forget the healing part. Leech works in a very complex way but to make things simple you heal your defensive target for a % of your damage. And since this game has 500+ skills to combine, you will have a lot of options. The rotation is hard cause you have to improvise a lot... sometimes the tank will get a full pen hit and you will need to change from dps leech to a strong heal.
I dont agree with the combat being bad in TSW, but I agree with fist healing being too easy and overpower and dont bring a lot to the group. Even If you can keep everyone topped on health, some mechanics will instant kill people If the encounter takes to long to finish. They will tweak fist healing down soon.
