Distributors, Devolopers, which continent

Hi,

I'm really confused : what is a distributor, en editor, an developer in a sense of now Webzen and GPotatoess are merging, I've got 2 Nine Dragons, Perfect Entertainment, Cryptic is the same??? you get a game from Stream it doesm't show in the launcher of the editor? developer? distributor? Can anyone try to explain it to me, or probably make an article for everybody...
