I did not like this game when they released it, but they have made great progress in fixing the issues.  Fun game now.

STAY FAR AWAY from this game. They gave my account details to a random forum user posting in a thread. He happened to be a friend of mine luckily, but they emailed him details regarding MY account. WTF is that. I was a huge supporter of this game,  and sang praises of it quite often. But I was fair not a blind fanboi, and I called them out when they did things I felt were wrong. With raids that launched I created a thread that was up for 4 days, hit 15+ pages and 300+ replies. I made a post in another thread mentioned what Gaz devs said in a livestream.  I wasn't happy about what this guy said they said. I had said that if they do take the game in that direction, then I'll take my money with me and seek to recover what I spent. They didn't like that and warned me but didn't tell me what the warning was for. I said the word chargeback, which is a buzzword for them I guess. Of course it was all prefaced with hypothetical if's.

The short of it is they banned me. I disagree with the ban obviously, Their support won't even speak to me but here is the worst part. A friend of mine was posting in a thread their lead Dev doomsaw created about the community unrest about raids. They emailed him and told him I was banned, they emailed him about my account status. What other account information have their given out? How many other people did they send my account status details to? Did they just send that email regarding my ban status, or did they ever send other details like name, address, email. Have they ever shared financial info with other people? Keep in mind they gave this info to a random guy on the forums who said he knew me. Thats it, just a guy on the forums and they email him private info about my account. All the while refusing to speak to me. They emailed him about my ban, before they emailed me. I didn't get an email saying I was banned, until hours after he got it. Whether I deserved the ban or not can be argued, but whether I was banned or not, who the hell do they think they are sharing private account info with a random forum user who says they knew me? How scary is that.

I have screenshots of posts, and my email inbox conversations with devs. I will be posting a huge writeup on this in the marvel heroes forums here this weekend. The company refuses to speak to me regarding this, refuses to tell me anything regarding what info their shared with whom, so I am going to make this as public as I can. Its a shame, I loved this game, I actually brought 8 or 9 friends to this game. All but one of us spent a lot of money of this game. They loved it. All but one of them have left the game now because of what this company has done. Not a single one of them trust this company with any personal information. Losing private info to a hacker is one thing, Gazillion willingly just handing out to some random forum poster is downright criminal.

Seems to be a trend of people who write posts like this don't last long in the MH community. Even trolly replies to questions in allchat get shut down in MH, its a community that wants to keep the toxics out. Good riddance.

IMHO MH is the King of ARPG's right now, its come a long way since launch & will only keep improving.

You can agree or disagree with them regarding my ban that isn't the point of my post. Do they have a right, as a company, to give your personal account info out to random people on the forums? How do I know they didn't share my name, address, phone number, or even payment info with anyone else? How do you know they haven't done that to you, or others? Thats not only unprofessional its borderline criminal. For the record I kept chat closed in game 95% of the time. I usually only sent messages to IRL friends to get in my vent to play lol.

As I said this isn't about my ban, I don't even care about it now. They could offer to reinstate my account and give me 1 mill G's so I could buy everything forever, and I would still never go back. My account was compromised, not by some chinabot hacker, but by the company that owns the game. The company that I paid, gave my payment details to, then handed out my personal account information to a random person on the forums. They sent an email to a random forum user detailing to them what was going on with my account. They broke their own rules, and as I said might even be criminal.

they'd have to be really stupid if they did such a thing.. and to be honest i highly doubt it. if it was true you'd probably be a millionaire right about now.. or just about to become one.

They absolutely 100% did it. I'll be writing up a post here in the forums this weekend on it. I will also have the person who got the email into his email account about my account status come to the forums with screenshots of his own. I don't want to sound like one of those guys but I am going to look into possible litigation on this, if for no other reason than to find out how much of my info was compromised. I don't even care about my account being banned, I'm not complaining about that. My issue is some one, or a group of individuals there, sent my private account info to someone else. Whether you think I should have been banned or not is irrelevant, everyone should be afraid of a company that takes your private account status/details and turns them over to some random guy on the forums who say he knows you.

I started playing this game since beta and I`m also one of those Ultimate pack founders. Stopped playing maybe 2-3 mmonths after its release. Then I kept returning from time to time checking in on the latest stuff.

The game has improved alot since release imo, and one of the big aspects to this game is that its very easy to get into this game again if your a returning player. Log in again after 1-3 months and you wont feel like you have a major ton of stuff to catch up to(item-wise, level, story etc etc)

So they told someone your account was banned.  Ok.  Sounds horrible.

Yeah that sounds like it will be worth going to court over. You'll have a precedent on your side too. In the case of a fool and his money being parted by lawyers.
