Charm is subjective. In what way does it not have the scope? The world is huge and the game feels like feature complete and mature as if it were a year or two old.
A lot of people say this, but give little insight into what they mean, the game has been live 3 days, how much of it has really been seen by the majority spreading this around? If they've seen a lot that's kind of an oxymoron .
When they say something like that, its not always literal, it is the feeling/illusion that the game is giving the player. Its not only been 3 days, you are forgetting the betas, early launch and etc. WoW is the best game out imo, however thanks to the group finder system, it makes it seems as the world is more narrow even though its huge, WoW have around 12 years? (not quite sure) worth of content, however 75% of the content is not even explored anymore, its so much easier to level by grinding dungeons now.

Unless you're on recruit a friend its actually faster to level via questing with heirlooms. You really shouldn't be doing the dungeons in spam mode, but need to at least 1-2 times just for the quest experience.
Wildstar is a good MMO, probably one of the best released in recent times. The problem is that ultimately WoW is still better, and I think that has a large part to do with the telegraph system.
Nearly every ability is an AoE attack, that is that it hits however many targets are in the telegraph. This means that pvp over 2v2 or maybe 3v3 is basically just a shit storm of zerging AoE effects. Honestly there seems to be far more chaos and a lot less timing/skill. It is the opposite for World of Warcraft where each ability is intentional and hits the intended target and not everything around them or that happens to be running by.
Give it time. Im sure the best teams will try to come up with ways to sync their telegraph patterns and things will get nuts.
TLDR: This game is okay. It's not the best themepark to face WoW over the last 10 years. I encourage everyone to try it because it's worth trying. Personally, it didn't grab me the way I thought it would.
I participated in Wildstar CB since last December and tried to fix and like the game. In the end, I was left with disappointment. The game simply didn't meet the expectations I had.
In my opinion Rift and FFXIV, did the whole WoW-copy better. I only played Rift for 2 months, but I couldn't imagine myself playing Wildstar longer than that and decided not to purchase. FFXIV which I played for 4 months was the better WoW-copy. Again, this is my opinion and you shouldn't be hurt by it.

It's not a copy.
People underrate how much combat systems totally change the game. They spend too much time analysing quest patterns and graphics.
This is the first "clone" of WoW in the sense they got it right, but this is not WoW 2.0. The telegraph combat system is completely different from WoW's tab target system. It makes the game play totally different.

People aren't underrating the combat system. It's actually what stands out the most when you're playing it. I find the combat system boring and feels too reminiscent of GW2 minus the lack of trinity. I didn't enjoy the game precisely because the combat mechanics lacked depth. I play as a Tank and secondary as a Healer in themeparks; and for me, this game has subpar gameplay for those roles.

Agree, but still love it to play. My eternal love for sure is Wow, folloved on closed 2nd place for now with Swtor, ... but I'm always looking for something new, fun, ....
I use to be an avid WoW player, I played WoW from the first year it was released, til half way through Cata. World of Warcraft was certainly the best, and first MMORPG I've ever played. During the years I played WoW many WoW killers came, and went.. From AION to SWTOR to ESO I've played them all.. And none of them seem to give me the same feeling that World of Warcraft use to.. I've been following Wildstar for a little while now, and so far it seems like a decent enough game.. But i'm not entirely convinced. I had countless friends telling me how "amazing" ESO was.. So I went out and bought it.. Only to find out it's the worst MMORPG EVER! I would like to know how you guys feel about this game.. How are the classes? What's the grouping system like? How's end game? What if anything drew you to this game?
Pretty same here with exception stared Wow with BC (did not liked at start that "cartoony look" that soon thanks to great overall quality of game become actually my favorite one) but still here and I can easily imagine to stay for decades with new expansions. Have full set of maxed out alts on both Alliance and Horde side with exception of Horde hunter that is for now lv. 63, but will be 90 before Warlords are released. :-) Pretty much same situation with Swtor.
So far love SW that has many originalities, like a lot also it’s cartoony look.
And here is my updated list of pros and cons I have compiled so far about SW.
PRO
no forced use for outdated WASD for moving, using mouse
fun, humor
very fluid movement, controls responding as expected, very well
client loading very fast
no single bug or crash in 3 last beta days (but one of worst headstarts I ever played ... actually .. there was no headstart I guess for majority of at least EU players)
only game (known to me) so far where i.e. river is driving you in direction of water flow ... amazing! Must constantly battle water flow. :-)
love double jump and missing already in other MMO’s :-)
underwater quests
CONS
only 1 (ONE!) toolbar with 8 active keys; if I will stop to play I’m already sure this will be for this problem because problem it is; usually this spells button mashing, especially as abilities starts to pile up;
logout should be immediate if in safe area or at least some button logout now; however this is big problem only for altholics as Im :-)
some patch at the end of beta caused fps to drastically fall down with same computer and same settings; stayed so at release, too; and I’m not alone in this
music could be better, but it is not bad at all at the end
as it looks every class can use only 1 specific weapon, but on the other side I’m not bothered a lot by this
small number of classes and races
no option to remove chat bubbles! they can be incredibly annoying when you attack group of mobs and they are in middle of fight constantly babbling something, covering fighting scene with that nonsenses (can be fun, but soon become very annoying)
JUST NOTE
graphics and style somehow reminds me CO (just noted, is not for bad or for good)
Havent been able to play WS for more than an hour because of the server lag in beta, and because of the mess with Eso release I passed on this one.
I really hope they will succed, and I will definetely try it later on. I do belive its good for the MMO genre that Blizzard gets some serious competition.

And when have they ever? Just because it's similar doesn't mean it will be as successful, because it won't. The fact that I have to say that is pretty disappointing.

Nah you cant generalise all the ladies... Espescially the ones i think fairly high off, like Eir..
it really will be like WoW, slowly growing by worth of mouth advertisement, sure, the game isnt perfect for everyone, but that was the same with WoWs release, the grunchy old MMO crew is hard to sattisfy...
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
It is simply another take on the same formula, which is why it is not even worth the time, just go play WoW, it has more content, more interesting lore and is less childish than this loony toons wonderland baby game.
