to buy or not to buy

imageive been questioning weather to buy a new computer or make a computer myself, and now that i have the money, i need to make a choice.  And i am a really bad choice maker so i  want some help.  Should i buy the computer or get the parts and make it myself? if i make it myself, i will be a gaming computer, what parts should i but, thanx!!!

    lol, sorry...approx. $4-$5 thousand for my comp, but i think i might need more

    Wow, you can get almost anything with that money. I think you stand to save a good deal by building it yourself (more so than building a low or mid range system). How comfortable are you actually with computer parts? If you know a bit and aren't afraid then build it. Worst case you could probably bring in pieces to a computer store and they'll help you (for a price).

    If I had that much cash I'd get an FX-55, GF 6800 Ultra, 1GB OCZ Gold VX, Asetek Vapochill, DFI SLI-DR motherboard...

    lol, thanx, but the money is not only for the comp but for games and upgrades and updates and expansions and monthly charges and so on, but i kinda not completely trustworthy with making the computer myself...so i guess i can buy the parts and get my friend to build it for me...thank you
