DAOC revival?

So I just recently went back to daoc after like a 10 yr break.  Must of the people I am playing with and grouping seem to have returned to play again.  I am enjoying my self for it seems like a huge break from so many dissapointing MMOs that have come out in recent years.  But I must say, the things that made me stop playing so long ago are still there  =(  1. The CC timer for lower realm rank people is just still plain rediculous.  I want a good battle but if a group gets its aoe cc out first, forget it, battle over.  2.  Melee mechanics.  Casters of course don't have this issue but if you're melee and you are trying a side attack, or even a back attack and your target slightly moves a bit, you get the message "target not in view" or you miss your attack due to strafing, etc.

A lot of people left because of ToA, I personally loved it lol.  Anyway, I am stil playing and I rather deal with those things mentioned above (hoping for a fix) than to try to enjoy games I've been playing recently like Rift, ESO (god help us), EQ2, etc.

DAoC got greenlit on Steam so there will be an influx of players after that happens.  I won't be one of them, because the developers seem to think they can just throw the game on steam and wait for the money to roll in rather than creating an origins server, making the game free to play, then doing a big advertising push to attract the amount of players you need to make a game like DAoC successful.  I'd rather wait for Uthgard 2.0 to come back up.
