I just thought I would post this link to a very interesting looking title launched as a kickstarter project last year .... fully funded x 5 ... and not far off offering access.
Called 'The Stomping Ground', the artwork is very ambitious and achieves some brilliant accuracy. The Dinosaur skins look great and the premise as far as I am aware is pretty original......Caveman Survival...... I also like the fact that it was created by a very young ambitious chap who had the gumption to just 'go for it' .....
here is the link if you want to check it out...

Yes definitely ....... could become a very accomplished game .... and who isn't interested in Dinosaurs hehehe.
Also makes a change from Zombies and I see how interesting it's future could be with the amount of new content that could be created .... just grab any Dino Encyclopedia and your'e away ....
This is not an mmo btw so you should change the title.
Its looks like it could be fun tho but from reading all the forum posts on steam not much to do at the moment. will wait on this one as I have enough early access survival games already hehe.
I've been looking at it for the last couple of weeks but as already mentioned there isn't much to do. There's also the fact that, like DayZ, there are plenty of gankers and griefers around and new players get sick of either being snared by a bolas and then locked in a cage or just killed outright by groups of players for shits and giggles.
Still, at least it isn't yet ANOTHER zombie game, so kudos for that.
There's a lot to be changed to make me buy the game as in it's current state it doesn't look like it will hold a good amount of players.
I've watched youtubers playing it so I've seen gameplay and the combat is awful, animations need a lot of work, starting weapon 2 hits people, there doesn't seem to be any weapon balance (You can craft a spear but does the same damage as the starting axe aka 2 hit kill, bow is terrible for once) the map size doesn't seem that big and since you can't carry stuff with you but have to drag them it will be a major pain in the ass to build a town away from people.
There's more like harvesting wood/stone from the same rock/tree for eternity, when you die you lose everything and the one that killed you gets nothing, can't trade yet (You can't drop stuff on the ground for others to pick as far as I saw), you start building houses/totem/whatever in the same exact position your crafting materials are instead of giving you an option to place it which is stupid and other stuff.
So many games are popping out trying the dayz approach but most of them lack any real polish/originality to be even worth it, like nether but at least that game is adding new features unlike warz/infestation.
You could say that about the entire mmorpg genre.
Take away all the aesthetics and labels and look at them as abstracts and they all turn into the same game with minor rule variations.
There are certain queer times and occasions in this strange mixed affair we call life when a man takes this whole universe for a vast practical joke, though the wit thereof he but dimly discerns, and more than suspects that the joke is at nobody's expense but his own.

I think the game will be similar to Rust ... it does appear to be a 'sandbox' title and I think the intention is for it to host many players simultaniously...which for me makes it an MMO.
It is in early Alpha and follows to recent 'kickstarter' trend of being developed as you watch and play and trip over bugs hehehe.
I know it doesn't reinvent the wheel but I thought that games like Rust and H1Z1 getting a decent amount of press ....why not link this game up.....the Dino mounts look smart too.
You can also get early acces with Steam.
Havn't tried it myself yet.
