LF a FTP with questing and crafting

I have not played online for almost a year and looking for a good FTP game to try or try again.  I like games where you could craft your own weapons and grind for the materials.  I have always liked WOW and WOW type clones, but do love a good pirate type of game, just not many around.  Just hoping for some ideas to try.
