this guy talks some serious doodoo, dumps on Sony and Planetside2 , and tries to smooth over their reason for the 99$ early access
"The $99 EA price tag - which has a LOT of perks - ensures that only serious people who can provide meaningful feedback through their commitment, need apply. And for that they get a lot more than they would if they waited for the final game release.
We're simply not interested in letting freeloaders gain early access to the game, not provide meaningful - if any - feedback, while we foot the bill for the backend services, servers, bandwidth etc"
now is it just me or can we reply with something like
" Being gamers we are tired of footing the bill for half a**ed games and funding projects that get passed off as "Early Access with lots of perks the freeloaders won't be getiing"
anyways.. i'm going to bite my tongue.. but I do think this guy just took a huge dump in his own mouth when this gets around the gaming community.

No, because people are really dumb enough to think that paying $100 to alpha/ early beta a game really makes them pseudo-developers. Yes, they really do think that.
So everyone who thinks Im wrong answer me this. Do you think you can apply for a game developers job by putting on your resume, "I gave $100 to <enter game company here> so I could give my opinion and test their game for them."
If your lucky they may require you to pay them $45k a year so you can work on their game. Im sure P.T. Barnum is furiously mast*****ng in his grave at how many fools are still being parted from their money. And not only that but working for the privilege of being parted from their money.
"I understand that if I hear any more words come pouring out of your **** mouth, Ill have to eat every fucking chicken in this room."
why would i pay $99 for that when i can play planetside 2 for free.
This is ridiculous. I have several posts on this site with a common theme - I don't like X game, but I hope some people find their home there and it does well, despite it not being my thing.
That will never be something I say about "Line of Defense" after reading this. I've almost never wished for games to fail, but this is added to that very short list. I feel sorry for all the other people involved, but if this is any indication what the working environment for this project will be like it may turn out that failure is a blessing in disguise for anyone who lands another opportunity quickly. (Wow, too tired to edit that to coherency)
