.Hack// MMORPG?

HEy everyone, i just got finished watching .hack// and it got me thinking, why dont they make it into an actually mmorpg, since the show / game is based on one to begin with? I think it would be a good choice to make a game of. Which makes me think of another thing, who here besides me hopes and wishes for the day the technology will be created to have mmorpg games like .hack// to be created where players can actually enter the world? VR has always been in people's minds, and to apply it to mmorpgs imo would be amazing. So what do u guys think, first off bout .hack// being an mmorpg, and second about the day VR will become reality and the first VRMMORPG will be created?

dust and iluminality are still in japan...but i download em

so..first guy up there...which series have utwatched? or have u seen em all?

I've watched the first, didnt even know dust etc existed  But would love to watch em, first one was cool. So, what you guys think about makin it a mmorpg? ( maybe have expansions of the other 2 parts ) And again about the first VRMMORPG?

Basicly u can play any 3D game on an VRhelm but an MMORPG designed for VR could have quite a few fun features but then again it wouldn't sell due to not many people having an VRhelm or having to sell them one but then again if the offer where righty some mite buy an VRMMORPG + VRHELM.;)

This is true, but what i mean is for the technology to be created to have VR affordable. So that buying a VRhelm would cost about the same as a new genere of gaming system,lets say x-box,ps1,ps2 etc for example. That way santa will be getting alot of requests for VRhelms for x-mas.

there is a online version already but japan only, I imported and I play tons, its called .hack//fragment, its not like full fledge but it has BBS, guilds and such, and no montly fee, plus single player.

eh it would be crappy. Especally if its got those cartoony polygons like in WOW.
