Questions: From a former WoW, ESO, and WildStar player

Although, the graphics look gorgeous, and a friend of mine has been pitching this game to me, I have some questions.

1) Is this one of those Anime styled games?

2) Is this one of those Cutesy Tootsie games, i.e. everyone is cute, good looking, and has all these little cute little pets and stuff?

3) Does it have typical Asian themes/Anime themed combat with characters jumping in the air in combat with oversized weapons etc?

4) is it a WoW clone?

5) Is it a grind?

6) Can you solo?

1/  Kind of... It has the big eye style of anime art but isn't overly cartoony like wildstar.

2/ Yes.

3/ Yes.

4/ Yes.

5/ Yes.

6/ Yes. But you will have fun finding max level dungeon groups because your gearscore is low or not to the elitist level they believe they are at.

 

Fun game, okay combat, doesn't feel like FF, great if you like to play a console MMO. Oh, and running in waves around event mobs in every zone like a train. Choo! Choo!

Yes, but slightly more 'westernised' than your standard anime.

Not particularly

Yes.

If you mean is it a fairly generic mmo, then yes.  

5) Is it a grind?

Average

6) Can you solo?

Most of it, yes.

Yes to all your questions.  That said, it is one of the better slot-machines ever produced IMO.  Very pretty flasheys and, until WildStar dropped, the best WoW clone on the market.
