he is absolutly right,why on earth would you make a game and not allow characters to jump? Is it hard to do?Would it have taken an enormous amount of time to add that into the game?Its either a ridiculous over sight,or just plain stupidity.Most people in real life can jump,and most characters in games can also,so why not here?its unrealistic,i also love how the npcs lips dont move when they are talkin DOH!!!.Get it together people.

but the fact that you won't play it simply because you can't jump. it makes you sound like a total moron. and i have to say, i wouldn't be suprised if you actually were.

Uh...well if you are uneasy and unhappy with the movement in general, I understand pretty well that you quit, since been uneasy and feeling weird all the time = bad.
Jumping is a big part of feeling at ease for me, but I guess I could live without...yet, I admit it would prolly get on my nerve if there are obstacles in a big numbers and that I cant jump...if there is no obstacles it would be far less bad.
As for GW, the PvP in the form it exist is the reason I didnt bother with the game. I dont mind a PvP that dont affect me in any form, but in GW, PvP would have cripple me.
Anyway, I hope you find great fun in some others games, many nice games exists, indeed if you get all creepy about jumping, it mean you know many nice games!

I am sure there is a way to turn off animations like the clouds, try tech support. Secondy jumping.. hmm well i can see why they dont want it. A lot of time with jumping you get people who will find glitches or cheap places to hide etc. They wanted to base the game more on startegy and not give any bonuses to a certain side of a map that might have a tricky spot to hide that another side might not have.
BTW that was a pretty low key bash, i dunno if i would call it a bash, but for next time if you dont like a game for those little reasons just keep it to yourself. Thanks

Use your mouse wheel and scroll all the way in till you reach 1st. person mode. No more dizzy graphics animation around your charactor. Why are you watching your charactor and not whats going on around you?

Oh yeah... and you couldn't jump is UO either. didn't stop that from being the best damn MMO i've ever played.
if you wanna jump, play one of the sodding Olympics game. so, you can't fight dragons while you're doing the long jump, but who cares?

If you had jumping it would screw up some of the missions and quest you had to do. I'm glad its out, pointless thread.
