Game Play Video with Richard Garriott

I just wanted to let you all know that TR OGaming has a new game play video up that was taken from a demo hosted by the legendary Richard Garriott. When I filmed the video I had the cam zoomed in on the screen to try and give you all a close up of the games new combat system.

I hope this video will answer some of the questions you may have with the games new combat system.

    Took a bit to download but it was worth it. The gameplay looked very interesting and it helped hearing all of Richard's thoughts and ideas on the direction the game is going. When I first saw all of the changes I was turned off by it, but seeing it an action and hearing more of the story elements has got me interested in it again. Kind of seems like Planetside, but less of a FPS and more of an RPG with ability elements and quests. Guess I'll have to start following all the info on it again.

    Have they said anything about PvP? The gaming god Richard Garriott is making it and all, and I really loved the set up of UO PvP image! Anything been said about it?

    I was told at E3 that there was no pvp currently in the game. This doesn’t mean the game will have no pvp, just that it has yet to be designed and is still in discussion. Many of the dev’s seemed to think pvp would be good for the game but couldn’t really say how it would be implemented.

    My best guess is that there will be at least some kind of dueling system and maybe something much larger. We will just have to wait and see what the devs cook up.

    The game is very co-op with humans fighting aliens (we play humans only) so there isn’t much room to do something like UO where you can just become a murderer. Something more like the WoW battlefields is what I would expect (only more like a training battle).

    imo the whole game looks like WOW BGs cept pve
