It was kind of a let-down, but in the end, it was just a chance to pre-view a game. So, no loss really. Just grateful we have a site we can go to to have a chance at getting such things. Looking forward to the sweepstakes.

I am just glad I wasn't one of the thousands upon thousands of people apparently clamoring for a beta key, today.

Well... honestly I'd say a lot of the spam that brought down the sight wasn't from wow fans as much as it was from those trying to get the key to sell on Ebay, which currently due to fanboyism by many casuals, a lot of blizzard betas sell for a good amount with Warlords being no exception to that.

For the love of God, have some sort of eligibility requirement for these keys otherwise you'll get the same thing as what happened today, with the site being flooded by foreign spam bots that scoop up all the keys, which they will then sell multiple times by scamming people out of their money.  Get rid of the one post wonders or the accounts of people who only make posts begging for beta keys.  They're easy to spot and easy to get rid of.  Otherwise they'll jam up the site again, preventing your real members from accessing it and having a shot a the beta keys.  But hey, if all you care about are clicks and views, then carry on as normal.

Not to mention that you retards gave FAKE KEYS to people and refuse to resolve this with your 4000 "good" keys. What a fucking joke.

Are your really that daft? Blizzard do this for marketing. This site has marketing agreements with blizzard and one cog turns the other.

Right?  It was my first day on the site and I still found it.  Made my account just today, and got my key with no problems.  How people didn't understand is beyond me.  What's funny is they're blaming these nice folks at mmorpg.com.

I'm quoting this before you change it - because it doesn't make a damn bit of sense.  mmorpg.com was used before?  I'm sure it was. 

Anyways, I sat at the WoD Beta Key Giveaway site (appropriately and obviously listed in the "Contests and Special Offers section), refreshed for a while until the keys came up, clicked the button, and got my key.  It took a few minutes for the page to load with all the traffic, but it worked fine.

If you had been a member of this site for more than the 1 day you currently are, you would know the issue is that each time they offer beta keys, its always been on a separate page.  However, because of people like you and the spam bots, they were forced to use the old beta key page which they have never done in my 7+ years here.
