I Pleaded with the mod of this forum to crack down on all the trolling but it fell on deaf ears and this forum turned into a bashfest of misinformation. Really a poor job on MMORPG's part to not have a mod who actually plays the game to separate the Misinformation and trolling from that of people expressing constructive criticism.

I still wish this site would put Christina Gonzalez in charge of this forum, Someone who actually plays the game instead of the current mod who clearly doesn't and still to this day allows the trash posts to continue.

I don't think this is the only MMO forum getting trash posts, but like you I have played for months, hardly seen anything you could call a bug and we have had to put up with relentless threads about bugs. My experience is no different from anyone else in my guild, but then we did not race to top level, I don't think that's a coincidence.

I think some of them were trolls and straight up liars but others i do believe, I think however those people probably left out key details such as the mods they were using and probably poor or outdated hardware in their pc.

Actually i use my old htpc to play with just 2 gig ram so it works pretty good even on outdated hardware :)

TESO was meant to work well with and average PC, every MMO to my knowledge has gone down that route since AoC bucked that trend which we have had since WoW.

The mods may well be an issue, I run very few and do wonder how much of the lag that was reported was down to UI's using combat mods. The sort of mod I use are the craft one and pnames.

I won't say you were lucky.  I played during the 1st month of release and never hit any game breaking bugs, just to many other problems to justify continuing to play.

A lot of the major problems were actually on the NA server, not the EU one, you may even remember when Zenimax had to offline the server to fix things. It does seem that a number of other issues may just have been due to server load issues, which seems to have been addressed, probably a combination of less demand and fixes to the coding. But there are still a number of issues that have not been sufficiently addressed, although players who play the game as a single player game are less likely to encounter those issues, the main ones being the grouping issues, the game just is not friendly towards people who want to play with friends and that really is something that is a deal breaker for some people. Although, while the EU server seemed to suffer from less 'bugs' there were numerous complaints about ability lag etc, though when they finally do move the EU servers to somewhere actually in the EU, that will hopefully be 'fixed'

ESO is still a game that seems to be 'unfinished' if/when they finally release a console version of it, hopefully that will mean the game is finally where it was supposed to be at launch, but the longer they take the less likely it is that the players will return. As always the onus is on Zenimax to deliver, thats all.image
