Our community, formerly named [Blacklisted], lasted for six years. Unfortunately we had to shut it down due RL priorities which forced the core to part ways. It was a mutual decision, and we have all remained in close contact to this day. Those of us who continued to pursue gaming became jaded with mainstream themepark MMOs, and decided that we would not get serious again until we found a sandbox that was worth our time. We have followed The Repopulation for quite some time, and believe that this may just be the answer we've been searching for. We have members who are active in alpha testing, and others who are waiting for open beta.
Personally, as the founder of AS, I have many years of experience as a hardcore/competitive player in MMOs. My gaming history includes both themeparks and sandboxes. I have no issues in admitting that I am an elitist, but I do not condone douchebag behavior. I simply prefer to push myself and others to exceed our potential, and expect everyone to exhibit the values of teamwork, integrity, and perseverance. A reputation that is humble and respected by the community. Our goal in The Repopulation is simple. To be the best PvP nation in the game. Whether we will own territory, or play as mercenaries, will depend on the size and interest of our member base.
What we can offer:
- Competent and experienced leadership that will function through a council system.
- Strict recruitment: with a focus on maturity, skill, and experience.
- Active roster
- Experienced alpha testers (currently under NDA)
- Heavy focus on PvP
- Guild crafting system: which will funnel mats to make sure our guild crafters can provide us with everything we need.
- Website/Forum and TeamSpeak 3.
- A mature, intelligent, and competitive atmosphere.
- Teamwork without hand-holding: everyone will pull their weight, or they will be directed to the nearest exit.
