Im thinking of holding out for a PC version.
I dont like the idea of playing MMO's or Hub games on consoles.Plus I dont like that all populations are confined to what console you have.
I'd think that PC would be pretty popular though.Anyone else holding out?

Will not touch without a PC version to play.
You dont have to worry about population, its kind of like ESOs mega server.

You have all of these examples of people who are doing big server cluster things like World of Warcraft or something like that. But we didn’t really want to do that, because if you think about those kinds of games, you’ve got a centralized server that’s simulating everything in the world, but that can only scale up to some number of players. Maybe it’s 1,000. Maybe it’s 5,000. Maybe it’s 20,000. You compare that to the population of a console game and it’s tiny.
So what that means is that you have to have dozens or hundreds of these separate servers. So we started out by thinking, “We want to have a single world that everybody can be in.”
We took this mesh-based networking that we’ve been developing for years and years with Halo and adapted that networking to work in a seamless interconnected world full of other players and AIs. So when you’re playing a destination you’re moving from area to area and every one of those areas has got this mesh networking with a group of players that are in it at this one time. And then it has its own servers for that particular area so you’re continuously moving around between these groups of both consoles and also dedicated servers that are hosting it.
That’s the thing that I’m really excited that we’ve been able to do because I think it’s been really hard for us. And I don’t really think anybody else is going to be able to pull it off in the timeframe we’re talking about on consoles.
How does this mesh-based network play out in the game?
What happens is everybody in the world can play together. There aren’t these barriers that are in place. You’re all playing in one connected online world. When you’re moving from location to location you’re always going to have people to play with because there’s this huge population. You never have to go to an area of the world that’s deserted because there happens to be no one here on the server at this time.

Yes,but Im willing to bet that PC would be one of the more popular versions.
What he said. I am a PC gamer. Haven't played on a console since the SNES.
I would agree if it was some other mmo type game but when it comes to Bungie and Destiny, Im willing to bet consoles would have the bigger pop.
tend to agree, there is already a lot of competition in FPS MMO's on the PC, and they don't tend to be 'hub' games either, its this amount of competition that might actually dissuade them from putting their hat in the arena after all, and why i don't personally think that they will be bringing the game to the PC. Its only a matter of time though before some of those games spread to console, or at least the PS4, Planetside 2 for one is one game that will outright destroy Destiny when it hits the PS4, its probably a good thing that the game will not be heading to the XB1, though i have no doubt it will fuel the arguments about which console has the best MMOFPS's
The devs seem pretty optimistic about bringing Destiny to PC

Waiting for a PC and a third-person view.
I'm not inclined to run out and buy one of these "new-gen" consoles for one game.
NOPE...
not interested in Destiny like...at all.
Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.
Please do not respond to me
You should post that on every forum of every game you're not into. That way everyone will know!
I'll wait for it on PC.
I don't need/want a built in aimbot to help me play.
I can see people think consoles are like the old days.. The fact is the new consoles are like a PC now a days... I do not understand plus why wait for PC version most people do not play MMO's together anymore, they would rather solo..
So I like the fact on my console, way less cheating... The graphics are damn good with next gen, I pre ordered months ago for my xbox one. can't wait.. 9 more days/

Personally I was a PC player pretty much since I started playing video games, and only owned 1 console (PS1), till I bought my PS4. I was very excited about PS4 coming out, and Destiny was one of the main reasons. Now I lost interest in MMOs and PC gaming in general, and moved on to PS4 as a platform of my choice. Played both Destiny Alpha and Beta, really enjoyed it, and I feel it'll last me for long time. And even if it doesn't, there are already plenty of games on PS4 that keep me busy. Just bought a second controller, so I can play Diablo 3 and Fifa 14 with my nephew. Personally though, I don't believe in the whole console vs PC war thing. Everyone plays what they like and/or can afford. If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.
