anyone know of an mmo with a very good economy system where my gold/credit can do something? unlike WoW where their "bind on pickup" loot has made my gold totally useless in the game.
It uses a ingame system which allows you to withdraw acutal cash and lets you deposit actual cash for in game money. The gameplay is also pretty good I heard.

no thx. that game is bound to fall apart when people start withdrawing and the developers run with the money.

EVE Online has a good ingame economy. The currency is called isk and it is what everyone uses. There are some NPC parts to the economy that i don't care for, but overall it has alot of gameplay value for someone who wants to play virtual economist or virtual businessman.
SWG has a completely player driven economy. I could never get into playing the game, however, so i'm not sure how well it works.

This game isn't about leveling, it's not about pvp (at least not in the traditional sense), it's about economy. It's basically a crafting/expansion MMO. It's really not my cup of tea, but if an economy-based game is what you're looking for, this is pretty widely believed to be the best.

Best economy game i've seen was EQ1. They have a system you can look up the items from various sellers and you can pick the best price.
