system error

ok I get this error that says " the program cant start because d3dx9_42.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem and also a cryengine error saying "error loading DLL: CryRender D3D9.dll, error code 126"

can any one please help me with this plz.....

    Try uninstalling it again, and install something like CCleaner, run a reg cleanup.  Then try installing game as admin.  Also, what version of Direct X is installed on computer?  I am utilizing DX11.  

    I could be way off.  Perhaps others have ideas?

    This error indicates you have an unsupported version of DirectX installed and that you'll need to update DirectX.

    You could also try a repair of DirectX.  Never done it myself so would have to research.  Or if it was working before, a system restore could work.

    I had same problem for ppl having this same problem. please try running as admin fixed my problem right away.

     

    Hope this helps anyone who has issues
