I have never scammed and will never scam. This is a game and everything is pixels. Do I really need to put forth effort to get you to hand over some pixel to me? Especially something I can work for myself to get ahold of?
I have bought things off AHs and then sold them for more - This isn't scamming, its being a merchant.
I have made people pay me for my time to help them out with things - This isn't a scam but its taking others money to compensate me for things like powerleveling and whatnot.
I have had people pay me to watch the AH for them.
I would never do anything intentionally deceitful to another just to get a few pixels. If I am going to lie it will be in real life and for a much better reason than anything on a game could require. In all I think I am one of the more giving MMORPG players out there. I don't covet in-game currency. I donate to a lot of others in games when I can help them to acquire things, and I do my own merchanting, collecting in order to amass my own reasonable wealth level. Almost all mmos I routinely am able to keep up a fairly decent bank by just watching the auction houses, not overloading myself on a ton of consumables, and being frugal when upgrading.
I play EVE, hence I am a career scammer. Even if I play other MMORPG's I always try to scam people when I get the chance. I just see it as another form of PvP, market PvP.
