ok as I play the game I am having a great time, reminds me of Vanguard and a little of SWG but as I try to plant a scarecrow farm it tells me that I cant do that because I am on a free account, WTF.... but I see other ppl doing it..so did they pay for the game already, or is this a bug?

I agree kinda slimy too, I mean I thought that's what a beta test was..to test the entire game not just the F2P status of the game...kinda wants me to not play the game at all..
Meh, it might be kinda "slimy" but we are getting a chance to play before release. To me that is very important to see if I want to invest time into the game. Finding bugs at this stage will be pretty rare I hope.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
They've been testing the game.
I think these beta tests are more stress tests. Also, they do need to test their systems but it's not necessary for everyone to test their systems. Since the game will have subscribers and f2p players you are helping to test this mixed environment.

It isn't slimy at all. It would be worse if they showed people all these features who haven't paid a dime and then upon release took that privilege away. Scarecrow farms are a Patron feature, you have to pay for those. You are testing the game right now as a free player.
They had plenty of farm testing already with all the founders they acquired.
$150 for an alpha is slimier imo, but still, people paid so..i guess that's ok.
Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile
It seems to be becoming the new standard. A real life friend of mine bought that pack the moment it came out.
I'll personally wait and see whether the game's worth it before shelling out that kind of money again.
And I'm sure they'll let everyone try out the feature sometime near the end of beta. As a little taste of what the patron status (or whatever they call it over there) is like.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)
