facepalm @ pay to win or labor points...
By this time anyone who cares.....
they know that this game is subscription based and that a person with normal play and subscription WILL have no issues.
They also know that pay to win is actually a way to wead out the gold farmers "see third world country". In this way it makes cold farmers have to pay $$$ to participate in the economy. This is what is known as a disincentive since a baby actually died in South Korea due to a gold farming couple's addiction!
Basically if you are NOT a gold farmer and you are NOT a bottom feeder that never pay for any games............THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!!!!!!
You will enjoy the old school tab target or click target system. You will enjoy the quests. You will enjoy whevenever you decided to get off the quest bandwagon with all the other fun things the game has. There is an endgame to this game that involves a choose your own adventure kind of session each time you log in. You decide what is important. Is is finding out where that treasure map leads? Perhaps gettting back at an enemy for taking your keep. Maybe you have achieved a few new house products that other have not and want to make a few more and put on auction house......
The choices become endless and the fun is never ending.
Are you a "I can't" ...."Some of this has been done before so it's not worth my time".....".it's an asian theme so it's not worth my time" heard that from a so called friend. "pay to win"......"I am only interested in story"

All of this has been done before, but not all at once in a AA or AAA
Asian theme or not...it translates to you language and is alot of fun the world over.
Pay to win... you need to subscribe and sleep in a bed and you will be fine. by level 15 if you subscibe you will be able to do all sorts of stuff. Not 24/7 farm and sell like gold farmers in 3rd world countries....but you will still be able to have fun and be successful in the game.
Story...you can follow the questline and the story all the way to max level but the real stories will be made by you and others in pvp, pve, roll play. and other fun things. A sandpark is only as good as you make it.
Hopefully this doesn't turn into another...."I play for free and can't do everything in the game" thread.

I really hope that the game is as described by your post. I have no problem with asian themes and such, but I was aware of the dull ambient that all this games transmit to the player who has play more than one or two korean grinders. Anyway, leaving the negative but logical worries when one is facing a new korean game, my main concern is how cash shop will interfere in the competitive nature of the game. Can you say anything about this?
AA seems to be new and fresh air to the genre and I expect it not to be a niche game. And the hype at least shows that is not, or will be not.

Third world are countries like Ethopia and Somalia. People are still struggling for clean water and safe shelter, let alone electricity and gold farming in computer games...

Players can sell items from the Cash Shop in game. So, yes, you could buy Cash Shop items in-game.
You can buy APEX, to get your Patron status, with game money.
In the livestream that talked about patron they said that they are looking into ways to let players use the AH after a one time purchase. In rift you have to buy like 5€ worth of credits to unlock it permanently.
Yes of course, labor points are there to fight gold farming...LOL.
You surely forgot the part where this game was FREE TO PLAY and gold farmers can have as many accounts as they like.
Run out of LP? No prob, they switch to one of their 200 other accounts.
Get banned for botting? No prob, they still have 199 accounts with max level toons they can bot with.
This game will be plagued with bots and gold sellers from day one till the day it shuts down.
And FYI, OP. South Korea is not a third world country. Perhaps going back to school would be a more rewarding occupation for you than playing ArcheAge.
What MMO isnt plauged with botters, and gold soammers? The last 3 or 4 MMOs I have played are full of them

Are the admins sleeping? I have seen posts locked for less than this.
And of course you forgot the part where Pay to Play MMOs also have a fair shair of problems with gold sellers and bots. And as much hacking and conning and cheating. Over the past few months I have been bouncing around MMOs for many years both P2P and F2P, from my personal experience is I have seen way more gold sellers/bots in P2P MMOs than I have seen in F2P.
In P2P MMOs, everybody wants to rush to the end game and have best items so they can stand around n look all special like. So they will use gold sellers and botters more. In F2P, well if you not paying a sub, what's the rush, so why waste money on gold.
Every new MMO will be farmed to death...no getting away from it, be it P2P or F2P.
