Hey dudes.  I'm co-producing The Death of 'Superman Lives':  What Happened?  It's a documentary directed by Jon Schnepp, the guy who brought you the characters of Dethklok, directed Metalocalypse, Venture Brothers and ATHF.  We are dropping a new trailer for the documentary tomorrow at http://thndr.it/Ve8XaL sign up to spread the word if you're into it.

Superman Lives! was set to be directed by Tim Burton, with Nic Cage playing Superman.  Kevin Smith and Wesley Strick were two of the five people tapped to write the script.  The movie was in preproduction for two years, and thirty million of the 190 million dollar budget was spent on concept art, costuming, screen tests, etc., and it's all going to be in the documentary!  Check us out, support your fellow gamer who is trying to level up

Thank god this movie never happened, Nic Cage as Superman??? What were the execs smoking at the time to make that decision.

That's definitely a popular opinion.  I try to remind people that this movie got the green light in 1996, and if you watch the trailer, he doesn't look bad in the suit!
