I been seeing so many post about archeage and playing for a couple hours and then giving a bad review. So here is what I think about all that, this is my opinion take it how you want.

I bought into Alpha 2-3months ago before 1.2 about a month before it.. I liked that version btw :P

Anyways the game was a bit of a drag at first I only made it to lvl 18 in the first 2 days b/c i was exploring around the area's a bit and looking stuff up on the archeage database along with finding Nui Coins (which are no longer in the game).

Some players can get to level 30 in 1-2 days depending on if they have a group and a group that knows what they doing.. me on the other hand I work, I play like 4-6 hours a day depending on what time i get off work.. what I am trying to get at is the leveling up to 30 is going to be rough even more now since 1.2 came into play, with all the Close beta players experiencing the new TTK(Time To Kill)

The Reason they put this TTK system in is b/c there was to many class's 1-2 shotting players and mobs at cap lvl, so the boost everyone hp and scale damage to be better, it isnt a cake walk to 50 anymore, well I cant say that I havent played in Alpha for awhile now, anyways,

To all the players that played for 1-2 hours and saying its complete shit, just get to your first town and do your first dungeon, you only need 3 players for it and you can get some Heroric Gear in the first dungeon, it will help your damage a bit but the whole purpose to me on the first "30 Levels" is to get your combo down and know it good, know your skills and what they do for when you do get to lvl 30 because after that the carebear shit is over..

Once you get lvl 30 you start to get quest in other faction area and I am not talking about just 1 place over there, you gotta do up to 3 your first time around, then you come back to your side and doing 1 area and then you finish up your quest in the other factions last area.

Also when you do get to 30 90% of the time the area is going to be in a hostile state, sometimes you can wait a couple hours or maybe even longer for the area to go peaceful for an Hour and Half, thats all you get 1hour 30mins of peaceful after that its open season..

If you do make it through 30's and 40's and you get to 50 and its time to farm in Auroria you will be fighting over Spawns yes there is good spawns bad spawns and ok spawns.. depending on what your looking for in gear wise and what you can just walk all over.. its going to be a bit harder for the new comers since "us" alpha players know were every single Great spawn is..

 

Sorry for my post being all over the place I hope this clears up a bit of confusion on the whole lvl 30 thing..

focus on your build pre lvl 30, get it down to the science of when to use this and when to use that.. 1 mistake can cost you honor points once you get to the pvp zones..
