I gotta call BS on that....i run into people all the time withen 2 minutes on most parts....
I would say that this is just me, but this is a megaserver so its not...
it depends on how you use the word lonely. I came across a lot of people while leveling from 1 to 40+ But it still felt lonely because in 40+ levels of open world content i never required someone else´s help. I soloed everything without problem, except the public minibosses marked by a skull on the map. So yeah, even with people around it was a lonely experience.
I think megaserver only addresses how many people you see around, which is good. But they should also work on open world difficulty and group content. IMO

As with the entire history of gaming, the only reason they will not bring in something cheaper is if players stop buying. That is not going to happen here, so get used to them.

I am going to go on record and say that I really like the megaserver tech they are using. The world always feels vibrant and I've always hated to have to coordinate with other people what server to play on. Server transfers and rerolls have always been a necessary evil in the past. This eliminates that necessity.

feeling lonely has nothing to do with seeing random people running past you, its seeing the same people.
I rememer when WOW started with multiserver battleground, sure the bgs popped faster, but the community/ rivalery was lost, and a feeling of being alone in a faceless crowd came creeping in.
Well, without communicating i dont think you should just expect to see the same people over and over again.
Tamriel is a big place, and there are lots of players.
well, yeah. im not complaining on the tech, what im saying is that feeling lonely has nothing to do with how many people are around you. you need to start recognizing names and such to feel like your part of something even if you dont communicate. its just a feeling afterall.. I think megaservers are the future no doubt.
