Any AAA mmo better than Archeage out there?

Since this forum has been having many hate threads about Archeage, i opened this one to people (mainly the haters) list here AAA pvp focused mmos with high sandbox content that are better than Archeage, and why (citing the features, one by one, that makes them superior).
This will help people that are "deluded" by the AA hype and promises see the light and choose better where invest time and money.

Just because a game has sandbox content doesn't make it a 'good' game. The only thing Archeage has going for it is that content, but with everyone who loves it saying 'you have to get past level 30' and me being in beta and seeing graphics and gameplay from 2005, I don't consider that to be an acceptable level of quality for my time now.
Everyone grows up and expects higher quality in the things they spend their time on. I'm done playing these games that are developed in a really terrible fashion. No, I am not going to 'slog past level 30' and no, I am not going to play a game that looks and feels dated just because its a 'sandbox'. We can have our cake and eat it too, we can have sandbox gameplay in a new game that looks and feels new, and I'm sick of people tolerating bad things just because it has one single good facet. ONE GOOD FACET DOES NOT A GREAT GAME MAKE.
So enjoy your game. I have no doubt that within a year after it's north american release, the north american servers will likely only have 10k or less people out of the 10-20 mil+ MMO gamers that exist out there. Good for you.
For me, I expect better. I expect sandbox elements along with SWTOR level voiceovers and Star Citizen level graphics.
What qualifies as AAA? Because EVE Online seems better than ArcheAge as a pure PVP sandbox.
But still you do have a point. People are bashing AA but it's not like there are a whole lot of alternatives that give what it offers.
Also, the guy above saying it has "graphics from 2005" must've been on some pretty good drugs in 2005. I've honestly not seen many games, even single player that look better than the scenery in ArcheAge.
I find the AA graphics pretty good. Maybe we have different eyes (or video cards).
And if AA graphics was so bad to the point of being a big turn off, them WoW (the AAA mmorpg with the uglier graphics i already saw) would be a dead game.
I hate World of Warcraft, and the graphics in it are vastly better than Archeage. Archeage literally has the worst graphics I've seen in any MMO in the last 5 years or so. It looks old, it has old ideas, it is not new or interesting. I'm tired of playing old games. I want new MMOs with up to date graphics, sound, and ideas. You can have them all. People like you all need to stop settling for one good thing in a game. It's why the developers keep making trash games.
Which is no different then the people that say AA is the greatest game in years.
Lots of people are forgetting the fact that its a PvP sandbox, which isn't going to appeal to a whole lot of people.
It seems to be a reasonably well done PvP sandbox, but the hype isn't really because its that good, its because its filling a void for people.
Black Desert might be.
Trove is a lot of fun.
LOL OK that just proves you're trolling or have never actually played ArcheAge. No one who's played both could possibly think WoW actually looks better. WoW's graphics were old and dated before WoW even came out.
Less space and different target public: the one interested in sandbox pvp focused mmos and so attending a forum section of a sandbox pvp focused mmo - this.
After that, i finish here my discussion in this matter with you.
You forget graphics are 90% style 10% substance. I was playing L2 at the same time I was playing AA beta and found L2's 10 year old graphics more pleasing despite being technically inferior in every measurable way. Graphics aren't just about polygon detail they're also about setting the mood for the entire game and WoW's does that quite well despite being ancient and hopelessly outdated.
Also some people just tend to hate Korean style graphics, that may be where some of the hate for AA's graphics come from.
EVE is a pretty good, indeed. I grant here. It's major turnoff is that not everyone wants to play as a spaceship.
WoW and Rift are completely different mmos, to another target public (they aren't sandboxy pvp focused mmos) Not applicable.
You're talking about artstyle not graphics. Graphics is about fidelity. It's like hearing Justin Bieber on a good stereo. It still sounds like crap but it's not the stereo's fault.
Because it is PVP based, there are very few to compare it to. Because of the low numbers of people who want OW-PVP there are not and wont be enough to be competitive. That's why the numbers are downward trending already with AA. Poor business decision from Trion, not to have PVE servers. GOOD LUCK.
I feel the same way I find Wow to have better style / graphics than AA. The update coming in the next expansion with character models will put Wow right up there with any other MMO I have played the last few years. That was it's only weakness for me and I'm looking forward to it. It's the same with LOTRO the character models are in need of a update while the world has held up great over the years.
Is a better decision to sell oranges in a marketplace overflowded with apples or try to sell apples amongst 50 others well established vendors?
Don't really have a list to compare games for you but on the note of WoW or AA .. I'd rather play AA. Been trying out the beta recently and I've had a ton of fun long before lv 30. I know it's PvP based and really that's what drew me. That and the sandbox mention plus it being free to play. So long as they keep the cashshop from pay to win I'll be happy and probably play it alongside of the main mmo I play.
Graphic wise.. the new wow updates are polishing the models a bit and to be very honest I wasn't a fan of AA's style. After playing a few hours and messing around in the creation screen.. it sorta grew on me. Sure there are things I wish that were done better but hey I'm not going to complain about a free to play.
The game you desire doesn't exist. It may be out in another ten years if you are lucky. Sucks to be you I guess. Archeage has much more than ONE good facet, which does indeed make it a good game.
You are very bitter. Try to add some sugar to your demeanor and you might find life more enjoyable.
If this is "beautiful" (or worse, more beautiful than AA), so i really dont know what beauty and ugliness can be.
The problem is that people compare Archeage, not only to Fantasy sandboxes, But to every game that ever existed.
Of which, of course there are better or more preferred games out there for certain individuals. But don't believe anyone who calls AA flat out a "bad game", that is simply untrue.
It is one of the top fantasy sandboxes out there and for those of us who prefer a game in this setting with a tradition MMO feel (no action console combat or space/ship combat), and basically the only game of that variety that I could tolerate playing at this point.
