GJ =-) So many people making PvP arenas. I think SoE is gona have to have some way to find them all. Or a Q system because wandering around landmark servers trying to find where people are PvPing will be a pain.

No, they are not coming in with this update.
Monsters are later; we just previewed those. The first "monster" you have to face is one another (PvP).
Georgeson emphasized that "the first monsters that we're going to put in the game are you guys!"
The first iteration of combat is specifically PvP. But don't panic!
PvP is completely consensual as well as claim-based so you won't stumble upon it in the wilds without knowing. This is so that players can give feedback on the fun-factor of combat while the AI continues to be honed.
