That's an example I'd be surprised would be possible (I'd like a game where I could essentially be Guts from Berserk). I'm looking for something with no classes, where abilities are determined by stats, hence, enough strength = 1 handing 2 handed weapons, any thoughts?

Not a MMO, but Dark Souls:

Crusaders can do it too on Diablo 3 thanks to a perk.
And of course Fury Warriors on World of Warcraft. Both are doing it because of talents and skills though, not because of a "strength" score. (I can't think of a game that has that)
It's only semantics though, whether you're pumping points into strength or into a skill that makes you strong enough to wield two-handers one-handedly, the end result is still the same. Badass hacking and slashing.

No real classes in Onigiri perse. You get weapons that have different skills on them and is pretty random. You can buy skills in cash shop or just farm and take a chance. Anyway, how strong you are with a particular weapon depends on your stats. So strength will increase your power with swords/2hand weapons, will will increase power with staffs etc. Its action based combat similar to tera. Worth a shot in my opinion.

What were we talking about again...?

Oh yes, they can! It's one of the primary reasons people play them.
Here's a link to the talent they have to get to do it: http://www.wowhead.com/spell=46917/titans-grip

They won't be getting rid of the Fury Warrior's ability to dual wield 2h weapons. Blizzard wouldn't subject themselves to the fallout that'd lead to.
And WoW's overhauled their system with just about every expansion. The transitions have never been so hard that you'd be better off starting from scratch.
IMO if you want to play a game, play the game. No need to wait for some major patch which you may or may not like better than the current one.

wait, Off topic but whats changing about WoW combat?
Philosophy of MMO Game Design
The expansion.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
DK's can only dual wield normal one-handers. Same deal as non-Fury spec Warriors.

I'm sure you'll see it soon from an Eastern mmo developer. It will be a 12 year old girl with 2 shields and a maid outfit lol.

i wonder if Dual Greatshield is possible too.
Dual shield with shield bash , shield charge , shield throw and damage reflect . Ultimate damage class lol.
That sounds like a great pvp class.
