archeage 8,26 expectation rating?

I played this game its average or is this the standard of mmos these days.

it should get a 7 if you really like average games.or I am sorry mmos are average.

    AKA: I don't think the game is an 8 therefore MMORPG should only value my opinion and not the other people who visit this site.

    I would give it at least an 8.

    Its better than 90% of the MMORPGs out there at the least, especially free ones. I don't see any MMO out there until EQ Next or Albion, that might take me away from playing this one.

    So, AA is the best MMO out there for now, older ones that are as good, are OLD and played out. 8!!!!

    I feel like that rating was locked in a while back when AA's hype was through the roof.  Now that a lot of people (like myself) have gotten in the game and seen that it's not for them opinions have changed.  If they wiped the rating and made people vote over again I think you'd see a lower score.  I know you can edit your hype, but I doubt many people do that.

    That's probably true for most of the games in development and all of them in release don't you think?

    Forum Post count does not = Game Intelligence or Knowledge  it just shows how often people like to talk.

    That's odd since prior to Alpha/Beta, Archeage was in the 7's and fell completely off the top 7 list on the main page.

    After Alpha/Beta started, it raised back into the 8's again, after people played it.

    So one would think the reality is exactly the opposite of what you describe and the hype meter is working exactly how it is intended.

    As I've said before, just wait 4-8 weeks after launch. AA is gonna get ugly. The 100s of 1000s of needy I want it now players will be in the launch. Then the 100s of 1000s F2P players take to the forums. All the real supporters of the game voices will be turned OFF. The state of this MMO generation is a monster. I don't have high hopes for the future of AA. What we're seeing now is just a mirage. 

     

    Oh and that don't count the insane numbers of posts we'll see about pking. ( even though it's DAM clear is a PVP game).

    Sorry to be so negative. Just getting sick of fake hype.
