Hi,

iv been in a few beta events thx to mmorpg, and i love the game so far. I don't mind questing to level up my character. I'v been playing till like level 10ish, and i Wonder:

Do quests ge tharder beyond level 10? Are fights gonna get more complicated as we move on?

Or are they gonna stay that easy?

Whats your opinion, for those who played to higher levels?

Thx

I played until level 24 and it was pretty much the same.

In fact, it followed the pattern of EQ2 pretty much exactly.

each area has around 2 quests that are hard and likely need a group. avoid those and you can grind all of them. Just always push forward dont feel like you have to do each quest, just do the ones in the next hardest 'zone' as soon as you can.

I got to level 24 I think in around 20 hours.

Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

In this game the dungeons are where difficulty ramps up more. If you are looking for PvE challenge dungeons and boss mobs in some areas are where you will find it. There are also invasion events called rifts where you will face challenge. Finally there are also a few world bosses to tackle.

Other than that, the players are the challenge once you get into contested territory and the oceans. Most of the level 30 and beyond resources are found here and so there will be battles over these resources both large and small.

After rolling a couple alts to around level 10, I settled on one and got it to 29. You can complete the main story chain at 28-30 solo. There are some fights that might kill you but they are doable. Main story quests reward Gilda, so you want to do those even if you don't do the others.

The rest of the quests are fetch, kill or crafting quests. Pretty easy and boring, with a couple of exceptions re lore/story. Those you can do for xp, a little cash and the chance at loot dropping in a coinpurse (never had anything else drop). The crafting ones introduce you to the crafting systems and award decent xp but consume labor points. It's a tradeoff.

I just hope mobs start dropping loot at some point.  Talk about a lame loot table.

Dang Koreans and their no life play, the game was made around them so it's a complete grindfest at its core. So much for the dream of a massive sandbox that didn't look like absolute shit.

This. Also you get money 6s/bag for the high lvl ones; which is a lot better then the crap they dropped before. Now about archeum..

Why would anyone PvE with mobs that drop no unique loot...or really any loot at all.  I just don't understand it.  I know it's not a PvE game but damn Darkfall PvE loot tables even put this to shame.  I guess there will be no I'm going to go farm this mob for anything....because it's all the same.  I would say this is borderline game breaking.  I like PvP focused games but they should have something to do PvE wise....that isn't quest related.

I'm guessing the dropped loot is meh because crafted gear is supposed to trump everything. I did get a couple archeum dust drops once my character was level 27+ so maybe it is level dependent.

I probably played the fool since I don't like PvP, but I hope I can find fun doing other things after 30.

yeah the games leveling is basic kr or regular mmo grind questing system. very linear and it is the best to level that to 50 with taking the time to stop and do your farm and even uproot if you wish, & crafting etc. it stays quite the same throughout the end, just mobs getting a little more difficult with more hp and different type of attacks more stuns kbs etc. Alot of people so far that played in closed beta events actually complained that questing was too boring and made reviews base on level 10-20 content. that i do not agree on as AA is a game for endgame as i have been playing in alpha for 4 months. it definetly is. i dont mind questing at all i loved it never got bored
