Does Archeage have player tracking?

Back in my days of EQ2 Rangers and wood elves had an ability (Tracking) that let them see players that were in the nearby vicinity. NPC or PC players popped up in the list. It alerted you when a dangerous player was nearby or allowed you to hunt down a certain player by clicking on their name in the list and following the whisp. Does Archeage have anything similar to this?

To bad, it was really nice to use in Age of Conan aswel.
You must gather your party before venturing forth.

The only form of player tracking is via ship radar. Galleons and Merchant ships have manned radar that will show the location of nearby ships (friendly or enemy).

*the location of nearby ships (same or separate faction).

Because you sure don't want to count on a same faction ship being friendly :P

Sad to hear that it didn't make it into the game.

    Thanks for letting me know.
