Pokemon MMORPG

looking for a 3D modeler/C(++) programmer.
We are making a game, a Pokemon MMORPG. The community is growing day by day and we have a alpha testing soon.
But if someone would helped us, then the first Pokemon MMORPG ever will come to life finally!

    sorry to burst your bubble, but someone has already started making a 3d pokemon mmorpg.
    im not saying you cant shouldent,just that there could be competition and everyone could start playing that one before you finish yours. but normally people alweays like something new whatever it is.

    Pokemon's not bad. It's about as repetitive as any Koei series, but the games are some of the best oldschool RPGs you're going to find these days. I just wish the series would evolve (no pun intended).

    Anyway, sounds like a great concept but a legality nightmare.

    I'm no lawyer but I think it is ok to make a fan game but you can't charge money for it

    so you will have 3 cities, and when you'll get all the badges from all the cities, you can go and fight the elite 4.

    Well multi-player changes the dynamic entirely, so that should definitely be interesting. Good luck with the project.

    Well, I have been scouting your journal today, pretty nice Renders you have there, I like the 3-D but still cartoonish creatures, keep up the good work!

    i have one question. is this going to be like a game where you like walk around and you can challange other players to battle with you? cuz well if it's not in your ideas yet. DO IT! and then that would be also kool to talk to them while you battle. my ideas are great! if they havent already been thought. lol

    I guess so, the forums say that you can battle anyone you see ingame..

    Why? Isn't Ekaiyo Online good enough?

    I think you should quit while your ahead. Just how warcraft wen't to World of Warcraft, you are going to have to put in over 5000+ items in the game.     It's a fan project... and i don't see why programmers/3d modelers shouldn't get some experience.

    If you are positive that you are not breaking any copyright laws i'd say go for it. Although if i were you i'd mabey have a lawyer have a look over what you have done so far and see about where you stand.

    Pokemon isn't my thing but your site shows that you have put some serious work into this project.  This is evidenced by the quality of the work that you have shown on your site.

    Good luck with your project.

    You really should reconsider legality issues. Speak to a lawyer as I find it highly likely that you will face serious financial consequences and losing all your and your team's hard work to Nintendo. Nintendo has to stand for their rights or those will lose value (especially trademarks).

    I am pretty sure that Nintendo has people scanning Internet for all kind of infringements. Pokemon MMO goes far beyond normal fan site and is likely to be a competitot for Nintendo's own possibilities regarding same subject.
