What race are you going to pick?
Question is simple but I'd like to know why.
I'm expecting a lot of Firrans since their abilities outclass the others in PVP but I don't know, the male firran skins are so ugly (The dark ones) while the female firrans look more ideal in size and all.
This is the first game I'm contemplating between choosing male or female because the male version looks terrible.
What about you people?

1. Firran's have no advantage in PvP
2. Firran Males look the most fierce and menacing (esp the black furred ones with reddish eyes)
I personally was awaiting the Warborn but they will not be available at release
They receive 20% less fall damage and can climb ladders etc faster (For sieges, etc)
Only other race that has anything worthwhile are elves that can swim faster and hold breath longer under the sea.
First, Elves because of the racial benefits mentioned above. I absolutely hate the way they look, though.
Second, Firran. Because I almost never roll a human type of class.
It will come down to whether my guild is East or West, as to which one I wind up playing more.
I hate super tall or super buffed characters and that is one of the reasons I was contemplating on doing a female firran instead of male. (Will try making her look like a male lol)
This game unlike most eastern games actually has gear that covers the whole body of female characters.

Male Firrans look cool and they can be customized to look cooler. I don't get this crazy talk about playing a female because the male version doesn't look as good. The female gender is obviously prettier because it is ... wait for it ... female! What do you expect? Wow, females are better looking than males, what a revelation! If you are predisposed to looking pretty then you will think the female of any race is more appealing to the eye and therefore be predisposed to play one. Here's a little advice, you will be waiting a long time if you are looking for a game in which the male character is more appealing than the female. It just won't happen. This males playing females issue in MMORPGs is so passe. Man up already!
Hence if you even read my first message it would have been clear I don't play female characters usually.
Firran male hairstyle and fur options are terrible! The black colour of the fur covers even his face making most face paint or scars look retarded. I also hate tall characters and since this game has no option to lower height I was really torn about picking female which have more varied choice in hair style unlike male with all but 2-3 are dreadlocks.
Time will tell. I might stick it up and go firran male or choose the survivor race. (I forgot it's name)
I will probably play a Firran, since I'm going all stealthy ninja anyway.
Though I'll more than likely have a Nuian or Elven alt at some point. Maybe a Harani too. Firran do have some great racials indeed, especially if you're planning to play the game F2P. The house building bonus is nice and all, but so utterly useless to me since F2Ps can't have houses.
Though I briefly considered making a construction worker and going around helping others build their houses. =P
