I thought there was a alpha server available. Has that been turned off? I played the open beta and then signed up thinking I would still get a few days of learning in before launch.

That isn't the only reason. I like the nice glider early and some of the other perks. Was just hoping....lol

Anyone still accessing alpha server?

Official headstart is Friday evening in Europe.

in the upper right hand corner of the launcher you should see a drop down box. one is for Alpha and one for beta.

I imagine that they will be updating the beta version for launch (I certainly hope so as I don't want to download 23+ gbs of stuff again).

The update from alpha to Beta was something in the vicinity of 8 gbs. You might try updating it now.
