This is why Archeage is going to be so much fun (Video Of Secret Farm)

Even if you choose to be a free to play player you can still go and scout for these secret farms to raid and also try and hide yours! Of course ones of this size will be protected 24/7, many smaller ones will not. This video is awesome.

Let the game of cat and mouse begin :)

That is very cool.  These are the type of unscripted things that make games like this great :)

    Exactly!

So it looks like if you are a paying player (a patron) you can get a 16X16 legal farm and PAY TAXES!!! ha ha you have to pay a gold upkeep for that legal farm that no one can raid from, it is protected. But for those who are free to play you have every right to go and try and find a secret place and grow as much as you want TAX FREE. You're not limited to a 16X16 legal square but the down side is you can have your crops raided...

Can't wait, I love looking for things people are trying to hide and then hiding things myself, tax free of course :)

I heard Sweden and the Bahamas are good for that.  The bad news is that the IRS may be cracking down on them.  Shhhh ... you didn't hear it from me though.

On the last day of OB I decided to try to glide from one coast to the other (failing, of course), but found a nice surprise.  There was an uncharted (not on map) island in the middle of the ocean.  On it on a mountain towards the top back that takes some horse+glider trickery to reach, there was an illegal micro farm of Avacado trees.  Took all the fruit, chopped down a couple others, and uprooted the last 2.  What a great find it was.

There will be a whole community behind hunting for illegal farms throughout the game and either harvesting them or uprooting them to teach a person a lesson.   This is especially more true than not for the F2P players as compared to the Patrons.
