PvE Oriented?

<p cfbody"="">

Let me make it super easy by listing the wanted features:

- Trinity system (defined healer, tank and DPS)

- PvE oriented. PvP bores me

- Dungeon / Instances oriented. Meaning lots of them, and doing them is a valid way to level (Thanks, FFXIV)

- Excellent party finder system, to quickly jump into action

- Best if Sci-Fi

- Would like non-static combat (unlike WoW/Rift), but not as crazy moving like GW2, but this is secondary for me

- F2P, Sub, Freemium, all might work

- No normal grinding. I don't mind quest grinding or dungeon, but mob grinding is too much for me

- Standalone, not browser

- Kinda pretty looking, so nothing too old or sprite-based

- High levels of customization

- More than just one rotation. Looking at you, TSW

Games I've played recently and are not my cup of tea and why:

Wildstar (dungeons don't matter for levelling, quests are boring, game too bland)

Tera (healing is a pain in that game, too much action-based)

EVE / Perpetuum (too much of a timesink to be efficient)

GW2 (no trinity)

FFXIV (several jobs at ilvl 80+, 2 at 110+, waiting for expansion for more content, one of the greatest games I've played)

ESO (pure buggy mess and very boring)

SWTOR: played a lot, but it provides no pleasure any more.

Thanks for reading!

Sounds like you've burned through all of the big ones. You could try Neverwinter Online, but it's also action combat(ish).

It has most of the features you're looking for though.

Or you can revisit some of the older ones, depending on how long ago you played them, see if you can rekindle the magic.

My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

So, trinity based sci-fi mmo, PvE oriented with instances, combat is not static but not full-action either, with a queue system to jump into instances. Standalone client, nice looking. Don't mind instance grind, or the payment model.

Last but not least, huge array of customisation.

Actually, I'm surprised I don't see STO on your list of played games... :)

Will have to try NWO again, but it felt... cheap, almost asian. Downloading again though

Tried STO a couple times. Space combat is awesome, but land combat is generic and most quests take too long and are very hard to know WTH you're supposed to do. It felt... weird

I have one for you. Stop downloading NWO. Games shit. Don't waste your time. Devs don't know the meaning of class balance in that game. Also P2W.
