$150 Alpha, lesson learned

the sad part is that in AA, people who paid $150 didnt get the equivalent in game time as patron (subscriber).

If Trion/XL were smarter they would have done something like BLizzard did with Diablo 3 release and the 1 year of WoW sub deal.

Well thats what people say everytime (lesson learned) and then shell out same amount of money or more on next alpha / beta.

Can't blame people though..it is like an addiction they can not help it.

Uh, if you use your credits for it you get 8 months of subscription.

Actually got 8 but who gives a fuck right ? .....plus $75 worth of goodies .... isn't 150 about about 5 months worth in every other game except GW2?

OMG I laughed. $150 is 10 months of most subscription games. But you get extra stuff, kind of evens out.

I think we started playing the Alpha sometime in mid to end of April, so that makes almost another 4.5 to 5 months of game time added on as well

Wasn't a bad deal really.
