I was planning on subbing at release, but now I see there is zero need to.  I'll just buy my auction house token and fiddle around with this game until...well...something else shiny comes along.

Too bad too, we all knew the landgrab was going to cause issues lol but shit has gone insane, and yes, more so than other crazy launches.  100% due to the limited resource that everyone wants.

That's just, like, my opinion, man.

I am going to TRY to explain TRY to explain land to you all.

Ok Yes the land grab was massive IN the Safe areas. Now guilds will NOT want to stay there and here is why.

Most of that land is for small plots . once we have enough gilda we fully intend on moving to the PVP zone to build . We will sell our plots in the safe zones because the taxes once you have more than 2 plots is crazy.

Those people who hammered the gilda quests and got 3-4 plots are trying to sell the land but within 2 weeks they wont be able too afford to keep them its a crazy amount of tax .

Sandbox we want a sandbox ..well we got a sandbox now everyone wants a Sandbox but with unlimited resources like a Themepark .

    Does NOTHING make people happy???

I do the same, although my guild is suffering through this head start and i feel bad for the people that paid so much for a F2P game.

    2. All housing areas are taken by greedy LP potion popping re-sellers.
    3. The economy is already in shambles.
    4. They paid for 4 day head start and get maybe 2 if they are lucky.
    5. Will play on servers only with other whales and power hungry guilds trashing the housing market and economy.
I am glad i will start on the 16th. Fresh server with mixed population and no greedy Founders.

    Oh the irony...

The Irony is YOU havent played yet and you are commenting on things you have no idea what you talking about and are only being a sheep to the rest of these whining people. I will got throught your post one by on.

    yada yada whining, sheep...

I am not whining, far from it. I am actually extremely happy that i did not pay for this disaster. Maybe i would whine if i paid for it but then again i am not that stupid to pay for a F2P game.

It's great that the players that paid for head start are testing the queue and server stability for us F2P players. Thanks guys!

Everything is fine, no queues, nothing to see here!

Yeah, I was reading on the official forums that there are long lines of people queued to interact with quest NPC's.  While it's admirable that the players can coordinate in such a fashion, why the hell is it necessary?  How did such an awful, immersion-breaking quest design make it into production?

Even with all the problems, though, I'm still interested in the game.  I'm considering giving up my carebear status that I've had since I quit DAoC long ago and mixing it up with other players!!

    1. Able to log in most of the time, they just have to queue. Big deal.

    2. No there is land left, you just have to look for it. All land in the prime spots has been taken.

    3. The economy is fine.

    4. They didn't pay for head start. It's a bonus included with the stuff they did pay for.

    5. No new servers will be opened. Still if you end up on my server I will sell you an 8x8 plot of land for 650 gold. PM me if interested :)

I'll pass, thank you. I will be playing on a fresh server come 16th. Enjoy your Head Start Server while it lasts. Good luck selling that land.

None of your replies are true, one has to just go to the official forums to read about the problems and i have information first hand from my guild members that paid for head start.

Good effort though trying to discredit the facts by simply saying the opposite of what is true without any proof.
