Damaging, or meaningless?

Can't read the article on my phone, but I wll say that nobody can be suprised by the integrity issues of gaming press.

    1. Gaming journalist sends message to fellow journalists, organizing effort to condemn the toxic portion of our gamer community for their relentless, unwarranted, and repulsive behavior.
    2. Gamer finds out and makes chin-scratcher forum post, questioning if there is a unethical side to this.

    Business as usual.

The comments are much more interesting then the article. The fact people have managed to turn the comments section into a debate on oligarchy, secret governments, the social elites and Obama is hysterical, tbh.

As for the article itself, what is it trying to prove, exactly? That journalists from different websites communicate with eachother...? Thats hardly news.

"The Secret Mailing Lists of Journalists", so ominous and foreboding...lmao. Just go to LinkedIn or GamaSutra and search for game journalist groups :P
