You may want to think about supporting this game. There are precious few games coming out that aren't action MOBA games with an MMORPG jacket. I used to be a fan of action combat until I saw how it was actually used in MMORPGs. The current and future action combat systems I have experienced are bad.
The queue is horrible, there are other things that are not the best about AA but if you want to cast a vote for old school combat and trinity AA does have that mechanic.

After playing GW2 which had no trinity, I kind of agree. GW2's no trinity combat was horrible. Especially in dungeons.
I kind of liked ESO's combat. Not sure if that classifies as tab target or not but it was really well done imo. Healing was kind of shit though.
I see nothing wrong with the "trinity". I think it was just GW2's marketing crap. I can't remember people complaining that much about "the trinity" before GW2 tried to make a big deal of it. Don't think people even used the term that much to be honest.
Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.
What's wrong with the skill queue?

I'm just saying from a purely Vote with your wallet (or login time I guess) point of view the only way that those who want Trinity and Tab Target to voice that effectively is to support those projects and avoid action combat MMOs of the sort they don't want.
Tab targeting...well...why not?
Trinity? Lame outdated easy button. Let it go. Help devs design a better way rather than going back the the stagnant 3 class type system. Was lame before, will be forever.
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....."
I've actually seen a bit of a re-emergence of class diversity in the LFG section of AA. While most classes will have either a damage, heal, or tank class which can be a selling point for parties, you also see people advertising themselves as CC'ers, buffers and debuffers.
For instance I'm a hex ranger, that uses a combo of classes that enables great CC'ing of mob groups. You almost don't need a tank until you hit a boss (and mob groups are fairly easy to wipe on).
People hate the trinity for many reasons, but mostly because they hate waiting for a tank and healer for group content. Some MMOs have solved this though. They simply let all classes be a tank, dps, support, healer, or whatever other roles. It became a problem when only certain classes could be 2 out 3 (i.e. tank/dps, or heal/dps). That's why there's always a shortage of tanks and healers. I think you can be all 3 in AA, if not, someone correct me. I didn't get to try all the classes.
Non-trinity MMOs are nothing new either. There's always been skill-based MMOs, where labeled classes weren't neccesary.
There's also the stigma of GW2's implementation of a non-trinity class. It was poorly designed, especially the A.I., which made it worse. Some people hated non-trinity gameplay because of this, and i don't blame them. However, the self-reliant role in GW2, is still a good way to eliminate the dependence of other roles. Some will argue that dependence is good, but it's also less strategic. When you're self-reliant on your own survival, it takes more skill than having a crutch healer, or a meatshield that's tanking.
A non-trinity MMO just needs to implement it better, such as some indie MMOs out there.
As for tab-target, i just don't see myself ever liking it anymore. It's just so static and boring. Your movement isn't affected at all, and skills will always hit you, no matter what. In action-combat, you at least have the ability to dodge or avoid the hits. To AA's credit though, it's tab-target isn't as boring and it's pretty quick and fast paced on some of it's animations and skills.
lol, to each his own.
Tried this game, yes....hated it, yes....but that's just me
Combat is meh
The people in the community are for the most part douchey.
The music and sound effects where farmville like...not my kind of game.
..I mean I sat in a chair and got stuck in it...only way out was to TP...but guess what...that had a cooldown timer going soo...there I sat for longer than I should have had to and no /stuck function.
