UI Scaling Bug?

I tried to find a solution to this but google came up with no results...

So I am playing Archeage on a 15 inch laptop with a 1080p resolution. At 100% scaling the quest text and some of the item description text are very small. I can read them but it just strains my eyes. 

So I decided to set the UI scaling to 120% and it looks perfect. Everything is just the right size. However, there seems to be a problem with the quest log where all my objectives are showing. The objectives log, the one under the mini map, displays the name of the quests but it doesn't show what the objectives are. So I have to go to the map or the quest log to find out what I need to do.

Is there a solution to this? I couldn't find anything on the web related to this :(
